Q:I got a sample of this carpet and then after confirming the color we liked I took the sample and poured a small amount of water on it. The water soaked right in. Isn't this supposed to repel liquids?

There were a few pulls, but they are dealing with them
It’s proven to clean well both with spots left after installation and one pet accident. There were pulls in the weave but the installers will be visiting to look at them. The installation company is very accommodating.

Chester - Color Classical Indoor Pattern
Within 2 weeks of having this carpet installed, I noticed multiple runs and snags in it. This carpet was recommended by Home Depot for household with dogs, they said it’s pet proof. I didn’t have this issue with my old carpet.

Carpet vs 90 pound collie
I purchased this carpet specifially for the pet protection and it has been installed for about a month. With the rain we have had mud has been tracked it and it has not come clean after cleaning. It does seem to release the hair that is shed. Just not what I thought I was.getting.
Still a pretty color.

What color you put beside it is what it complements. The installation was as-scheduled and the special instructions were completed as requested.
