LS550 Plus 5-Person 45-Jet 230v Spa with Ozonator

I've had multiple guests in the hot tub and the experience is breath taking. When I'm sitting in it on a cool night, I feel like I'm in a resort, especially with the ambience I created around it. I like the little fountain. I really like the multiple color options. It has various multi-color changing options as well as just selecting one sold color. The jets are modifiable depending on where you want the power mostly, or just all over. Yes it can fit 5 people. It would better fit 4 adults without worrying much about kicking someone else's feet. Technically there are 6 spaces to sit, but you'd all have to be pretty close friends. If you're fitting kids, you might be able to pack it out to 7. Since it's 220 powered, it heats up quickly. I just use the test strips and add chlorine granules, alkaline, Ph, and clarifier accordingly. I wound up installing it myself. I don't recommend doing so if you're not familiar with related code and electrical work. (installing a secondary electrical panel off of the main panel, purchasing the correct wiring, running the correct sized electrical conduit for the wiring, distance, potential trench digging, etc.) Just pay someone to do it for you to be safe!

This spa is an excellent choice, and I've been using mine daily since installing it in December. It has plenty of jets configured in different patterns, making it a great spa for hydro massage following a hard run or workout. I have the spa set to economy mode most of the time, which keeps the temp around 85 degrees. About an hour and a half before I'm ready to soak, I turn it on to operating mode and the water is 104 degrees by the time I get in 90 minutes later. I spend about 30 minutes in the spa every evening for a hydro massage of sore muscles, then turn it back to economy mode. Operating it like this daily for a month adds about $30 to my power bill. I follow the recommended weekly testing and maintenance routine, using Baqua Spa products. The water from the original fill is still crystal clear almost five months later, with one filter change in that time. The led light feature is pretty cool too.

Great hot tub. We have had it for about 3 weeks now. Everything went very smooth. Ordering through Home Depot was a breeze. The trucking company had accurate online tracking of the delivery so we could plan accordingly. RAC Transport delivery was easy and when expected. You will need to have your own plan in place to get your hot tub placed where you want it. The trucking company was only the driver with a pallet jack. They can only unload where the truck can back up to. Only needed 1 other person to help get it off the truck. Hot tub was packaged well as was the hot tub cover. Was able to move the tub via caveman method, 3 equally sized logs placing one in front of the other. Was able to do this by myself. Took off packaging and the tub had no scratches or issues. Was an easy set up for the electrician. All functions worked great when power was applied. Took just under a full day to heat up. The jets are nice and powerful and seating is comfortable. Does not require a lot of chemicals (our water) and seems to be very easy to maintain the pH. The cover is very nice and tends to get hot during a sunny day. Would suggest getting the additional protective cover that Home Depot sells to prolong the life of the cover during winter and summer. I would recommend this product and purchasing through Home Depot. It provides the relaxation we were looking for and the ease of maintenance, plus a nice way to incorporate a nice adult beverage holder.

I just received this tub 2 weeks ago. Last week, I went to go in and saw it had no power. I went to my panel and reset the breaker and it turned on. Then yesterday the same happened but it will not go back on. I was hoping it was an electrical issue, but my electrician came by and went through each component and said it seems to be the heating element that is tripping the breaker. I put in a call to the company and am waiting to hear back. I really like the tub and hope this is an isolated problem that happened in shipping since it came from CA to NY. If that is the case, I would recommend it since the jets are powerful and I love relaxing in it. Time will tell.

Bought last Sept on sale. Love all the jets and the different colors. only thing we had a hard time with is finding a replacement filter

Very happy with this product. Got it on sale for $3,000 and was well worth the price. I installed a 230 volt line and had to do some minor cement work so that the tub would be level but all of the preparation was worth it. Goes up to 104 degrees and can be programmed as low as 80. We've been keeping it on low for the summer and warmer for the colder nights. Have had it about 4 months - easy to maintain and clean. Definitely recommend for the price and quality.

Bought this unit 1 year ago on sale for $3000 to go on our new deck i built. It has been flawless on functioning so far. Has plenty of room for 3 adults and you can fit 5 but starts getting tight. Delivery was interesting as they shipped on a straight truck without a lift gate and only 1 150lb man! I asked how he was going to unload if i hadnt been there and he said "slide it out and drop on ground"! So be prepared to have several guys ready to accept delivery. Me and and wife managed to stack lumber to get it on back of my truck for the trip behind house. I already had the 220volt wire under deck so hookup was easy. It only takes about 45mins to fill or drain (i bought a pump at HF for $30 to drain instead of cap under hot tub). I drain and re-fill with fresh water every 2-3 months. In about 5-6hrs it heats backup to 103 after filling and maintains the temp very well in freezing weather. Cover is thick and seems to hold in heat very good. Power bill went up about $30 i winter months best i can determine. I added some led lights under the deck railing and can match the led lighting inside hot tub for a relaxing spa experience right in my home now!

This hot tub works great. I checked out others at State Fair, at least $3,000 less expensive than the ones I checked out there. Great buy! Easy to set up and I would recommend this unit.

We bought the hot tub as our Christmas present to each other last year. (2017) The delivery guy was great. He helped us get it unloaded and out of the crate even though it was getting late. We weren't even his last stop for the night. We've used the hot tub almost every night since we've gotten it. It has been wonderful. The heater has no trouble keeping up with our cold Iowa winter weather. There were times our hair got frosty but we were toasty. Definitely worth the money!
