can you attach two 7x7 lifetime sheds to make a 14x7

I don't see how that would be possible. The structures are not designed to leave a side wall out and still have a stabile structure. Also the roof lines would not be connected in a way to function properly.

What kind of fundation is required

Answer

You must provide a platform on which to assemble your shed. Proper building permit documentation may be required in your neighborhood. Consult all local building codes prior to assembling the shed. Before beginning assembly, you must pour or construct a platform. There are two types: *Concrete *Wood Frame. Select the type, but know the surface must be level and flat before installation. If the surface is not properly leveled and flat, the shed will not assemble correctly. Proper surface leveling will save you time in the long run, so please don’t ignore this step. We recommend a Concrete platform. It will be the most durable and long-lasting choice. The platform you choose must be built above ground in order to avoid water pooling inside the shed. All lumber must be rated for outdoor use. Detailed instructions on how to construct a proper platform can be found in the product manual which can be downloaded at www.lifetime.com.

As this cannot be delivered to the home, what are the dimensions unassembled and in the box?

Asked by Sadie September 25, 2020

Answers

Two separate boxes that are pretty heavy. If you pick them up from the store like we did you will need a full sized pick up...and it can't be a short bed. We have a Dodge Ram and you will need to have the tailgate down. Sorry I don't have exact dimensions.

Will a golf cart fit in this?

Asked by Tj September 24, 2020
1
Answer

Yes, it will fit, but you will want to measure your cart to make sure it will fit through the door. The door opening dimensions are 75.7 in. H 56.4 in. W. The doors are 71” high at the lowest edge and 75.7” at the highest center point.

How many boxes does the shed come in and about what does it weigh

I think it was 2 large boxes and they're heavy! Delivery dropped them at the end of my driveway.

Very pleased with our purchases. We actually bought 2. Fairly easy to install providing you follow instructions. We had a bit of problem with doors as the holes to the locks were not even but my husband was able to McGyver something which fixed the issue perfectly.

10+ Years - Pacific Coastal Weather - Still looks GREAT! (Tips and Pics)
I rarely give reviews, but this Lifetime shed met and exceeded my expectation. I purchased the 10x8 ft shed over 10 years ago. Moving it between locations we've disassembled and reassembled it 3 times (marked the pieces). Of course the assembly took 1-1/2 hours, about 1/3rd the time as the first time...which took about 5 hours. Also called Lifetime and ordered an additional 2.5' (30") section (with windows) making it 12-1/2 ft. (see pictures). Foundation: The first time it was placed on a bed of gravel (gophers and mice would go under the plastic floor), 2nd time 1ft square patio blocks, then the last time I poured a rough concrete slab (recommended) using 2x4s and pre-mixed sacked concrete. Make it 1 or 2 inches bigger than the dimensions of the plastic floor. (Note: The plastic floor is not exactly the same dimension as the "shed size". So get your shed on-site, measure the plastic floor, before building the foundation. Tips: As with building ANY structure, make sure the foundation is perfectly level. If not, then the roof and the doors do not line-up as expected. Still, you can shim-up the corner to align these. Also, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screw fasteners when assembling. Don't think tighter is better...you will strip out the plastic material and the screws may eventually fall out. That said, screws snug-tight, after multiple assemblies, has held perfectly for over 10 years. Weather: I wanted a "maintenance free" shed. This shed is on our ranch property near the Pacific Coast where we get high winds, salt air, and scorching sun. ANYTHING steel, unless galvanized, will rust away in just a few years. When I put on the 30" extension I was concerned that the plastic walls and roof would be faded and wouldn't match the new section. It matched perfectly! I made sure that it is partially protected from the prevailing winds off the ocean. Pacific storms can deliver 85+ miles-per-hour gusts. No problems. Also the metal parts are protected inside so is virtually no rust from the salt air! It has been maintenance free, as expected. I have been so impressed with this shed that I purchased Lifetime Storage Deck Boxes 3 years ago for the patio furniture cushions. They are the exact same color and durable like the shed. I'm very happy. My wife now wants to purchase another Lifetime shed, with a side-entrance, to put along-side her raised garden beds. (on order)

Great product
High quality shed. Relatively easy to put together. No issues with delivery or quality control. Customer service was helpful. It does not leak from rain and is very sturdy. Would highly recommend this great product, I am very happy with it.

So much better than the old metal one!
Just had ours installed yesterday by the person Home Deport recommended. Cost to install was $350 (we are in the Los Angeles area) and worth every penny. My husband is not the type to read the installation instructions in detail and I was afraid he might hurt his back so it was worth it to have someone install it who have done it before. Took 2.5 people almost all day to do it. As I'm writing this the hubby is happily filling it up with stuff! It is a beautiful shed and so much nicer than the old 6x7 metal one what had been there for many years. Only one negative. The video in the ad shows that the shed comes with a battery touch light to go in the inside wall. We did not get one so I called the manufacturer and they said they stopped including the light a long time ago. Also, the window can go on either side of the shed.

It's a great shed. It will do great for storage. Pretty sturdy for being plastic. The only thing I'd consider before purchasing is that once its installed and set up, I think it would be hard to take down and move somewhere else. Because when your putting it together the screw are going threw the plastic fir the walls and roof and it makes it hard to rethread and hold back together once a hole already made.

I love the shed but putting it up was not easy. Even watching how to videos and reading the instructions some parts were just not lining up. but we struggled along and made some things work. The end product is great and we are happy.

Once the directions are read through thoroughly, its quite simple to put together. 2 people are definitely required, 3 are recommended. It does take some time to put together, but the sturdiness and strength of the finished project is worth the effort. This shed is very well built with added support structure. Great shed for the price, cant beat it.

Assembly was very difficult. None of the corners fit. They were 1/2" too long. I had to force the corner back out and I struggled to get the tabs to snap into the floor. When it came time to attach the roof panels I had to pry them into place to get the screw holes to line up. Many of the screws just stripped out with very little torque applied. The doors are positioned in holes in the floor and the top cross member. They are molded into the plastic and can not be moved. So, it is a manufacturing defect that made the doors overlap instead of latching properly in the middle. The shelves were fair, the supports and screw holes lined up after I turned the long shelf end-for-end. The corner shelves don't fit well but as long as you keep the load light they should function. With so many of the screws stripped out I'm going to wait to see how it handles the strong gusts of winds we get around here.
