Sure! It may be harder to roll back up for storing after use, but they are far more comfortable than a standard sleeping bag. However, air mattresses are very affordable these days, and much easier to store--you might weigh your options first just to be sure this is what you want!

The 2” relieves pressure points without over-conforming to every single curvature of your body. I think 2” helps with back pain because it provides support for the spine still whereas the 3” has less support and more foam.
