Tore apart in under a year

We purchased a twin sized topped for my child's bed in August '19. It has torn apart in the middle area along the valleys of the egg-crate points. It was comfortable - but now gets bunched up because the torn areas.

I don't recommend

I bought this exactly a year ago. It recently tore apart and I had to throw is away. I am not sure how long these are supposed to last, but I've had cheaper foam mattress toppers last much longer. Only buy if you plan to change these yearly.
