How long does this last?

Answer

It lasts me about 1.5 to 2 weeks...much longer than other liquid bandages I have used. I use it on my thumbs and fingertips before they start cracking from all of the work I do with wood and concrete.

A MUST FOR FIRST AID KIT
I purchased this a while back, kept it in the medicine cabinet at the hunting camp. one of our members had a cut on top of his finger on the knuckle. would not close and stop bleeding. we applied this and it worked great. took longer to cure because we applied it thick, but after it dried was flexible and held strong

I bought Liquid skin to keep in my everyday bag. It is small and compact. I stabbed myself with a fork while cleaning and a bandage wouldn't stay on while I was cleaning the dishes. I go out my liquid skin, applied it and waited for it to dry. It didn't sting. It didn't bleed again. I was super for my fork finger stabbing. I laid the tube down after use and it leaked a bit. There is no way to seal off the whole made when opening the product. This definitely needs to be addressed by the manufacturer. So for my everyday bag it is a one-time use product. After that it goes in the bathroom where it can be stood up.

PRO 2 G LIQUID BANDAGE TWIN PACK
this is better then new skin. stays on for a couple days and does not wash off. peels away like normal skin. I love it because i handle mail all day and i have a condition called eczema so my hands get cracked because they just do and it is heightened by extreme dryness. i glue my cracks on my fingers shut and they feel protected.. actually they heal up pretty quick.and doesn't hurt once the glue is applied No lingering smell Only takes a drop

short expiry date
I am from Canada and purchased a bunch of packages when in Las Vegas because you can't get in Canada. Though there is no expiry date on them, the glue started eating through the containers and when I tried it on a split, it would not dry, after an hour. I contacted the manufacturer and they didn't care, saying it must be expired product, yet there is not expiry dates on it. The manufacturer told me to deal with Home Depot and that they would not help. I can't recommend this product, if it has a short shelf life, they should have said so on the packaging.

From an RNs point of view
We nurses are washing our hands twice as much as usual due to the Covid-19 pandemic and for those pesky and very painful skin cracks similar to paper cuts NOTHING IN MY CAREER AS A WOUND CARE NURSE has ever worked nearly as well. I would gladly give this product 10 STARS if available. This is the same product used to temporarily close gaping wounds on the battlefield to keep soldiers alive until they can be transported to hospital. One caveat YOU MUST CLEAN THE WOUND FIRST or you will be sealing in germs that can cause infection.

Poor packaging
Not the package it comes in but the bottle itself, let that sucker lay and watch the whole thing go to waste. I'll stick with super glue. Waste of money.
