Q:How much to give a palm tree, is there a per ft recommendation?

Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. We do not have a delusion rate on the packaging, based upon the diameter of tree trunks. We do suggest that the product be applied around the drip line of the plant or tree meaning if rain were to fall on the tree, what would be the furthest extent of drops, on the ground. In the case of palm trees, that would probably be a 4’ circle. Within that circumference is where you’d apply the Iron & Zinc. It'd be safe to say, “Apply at the suggested delusion rate on the packaging, twice monthly until the yellowing of the fronds has been eliminated”. Lastly, not knowing how tall the palm is, if possible, you can foliar feed (apply directly to the fronds) for very quick absorption.

    A:  Yes, it's on the label right in front and quite obvious. 0.2% iron and 0.2% zinc.

      A:  Thank you for your question. A gallon of Iron&Zinc will cover 800 square feet as a foliar application. In this case, the product would have to be applied as a foliar feed. I would also suggest that the lawn to be watered first, then apply the Iron&Zinc and allow the product to be pulled in through the blades of grass and not watered again for at least 12 hours. This whole application should not be performed during the heat of the day.

        A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, Iron & Zinc can be used on Kentucky Blue Grass. It is used as a foliar feed (sprayed on) in this application and would help change the chlorosis (yellowing of the grass) fairly fast. However, it is not intended to be a complete fertilizer for the grass. If the goal is to feed the lawn, the customer would be better suited to use Grow, which has a fertilizer count of 10-10-5.

          My Ficus Lyrata plant (Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree) was not doing well. The bottom 5 leaves were almost completely yellow, and turning downward.
