Made of rugged die-cast aluminum housing and with a heavy-duty glass globe, this utility light has a gray finish and is designed for easy installation and maintenance. The fixture uses one 150-Watt incandescent lamp (not included).

AnswersThe LED bulb must be rated for use in an enclosed fixture or it may fail prematurely. Many state on the box they are not for use in a totally enclosed fixture.

AnswerCFL lamps don't last long in these lighting fixture. The CFL lighting fixture ballast fails do to heat given off of the lamp. I have used up to 100 watt LED Daylight lamp in the fixtures I install I can't recall but 100 watt LED lamp is equal to 18watts??

the glass "Jar" that screws on over the light bulb was so paper thin at the bottom the glass broke during installation. i'm glad it did not cut my hand! very poor quality control with this chinese made product. home depot does not carry replacement glass for this fixture, so i had to call the importer in Conyers, Georgia. i'm still waiting for a replacement glass for this fixture.
Good fixture- I wish it came in a smaller size....

Bought this light to be an indicator that the compressor is powered on in my shop with a colored light. Great light. It serves the same purpose as the older industrial lights of this type for a much better price. Works great with colored LED bulbs and there is no need to find a different color glass for it. It works perfectly for the purpose intended.
