I really hate to write a negative review, but I purchased and exchanged 3 of these and all of them leaked with in a few days. I even installed an inline RV regulator to 40 psi. In all fairness this may not be made to wash items, but only watering gardens? The quality build is excellent and works perfect in small/tight locations for cleaning our equipment, other than the leaking, it performs perfect while in use. You just you can't stop at all when washing stuff, turning off the main faucet to grab a drink or take a break seems impractical.

After a week, bearings gone and it's locked in the off position.

Weak point is a small piece of surgical tubing and 3 steel ball bearings. This is a toy squirt gun for a water hose.

Noticed 1 ball had dissapeared, so i looked for it around my garden and the downspouts, and while I was looking for the balls I was tightening and loosening it, when i gave up, the other 2 balls and the green sleeve was gone

It met all my expectations except it doesn't completely shut off. We have fairly good water pressure here so maybe it wont be a problem in other areas. If it shut off completely, I would give it at least 4 stars. I have a pressure washer and this is adequate for jobs where I don't want to pull it out. There are times you cant have water shooting out even if it is just a light pin-point stray. It has a nice firm spray for cleaning siding and moving dirt from the driveway. As its 3 days old I don't know how well it will stand up but I plan to keep it for a while. Just beware of what you may be getting.

I've been looking for a hose nozzle that won't leak after a month or two, and not having much luck. Spotted this one and bought it last weekend. It's a clever design, one flexible part replaces both the hose washer and inner workings (i.e. shutoff seals etc.) The flow is stopped by rotating ball bearings that are driven along a conical surface, just move them inwards against the inner flexible part and presto the water flow is constricted and eventually stops. Cool! The bad news is we used it for one week, and it immediately became apparent that the rotating mechanism tends to jam at the extreme positions. This morning my wife called me out to look at it and much to my chagrin 2 of the 3 ball bearings were missing - somehow they dropped out of the nozzle and it's now useless. Too bad that these small details were not caught early in the product design and testing phase and IMO they could have easily been eliminated. My advice is to avoid this product (hence my 1 Star rating), and hope that the manufacturer comes out with an updated design which eliminates these serious flaws.

Already recommended this nozzle to my Father. I Love the way it works, I have a huge backyard and watering the lawn with this is a breeze. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed. And to top it off, it’s made in the U. S. A. And to me that’s a BIG DEAL.

Bought it yesterday used it liked it shut it off it leaked a very fine stream of water all night when I got up and noticed it was leaking I twisted it even more it locked close but still leaking and will not open back up used 2 pair of pliers after removing it from hose .The inside turns so there is no way to open it back up don't know if it is just defective or poor quality
