Heavy duty, professional quality item.
Minimal assembly is required, all you have to do is attach the two handles using the four supplied nuts and bolts.
The handles do make the griddle quite high, and in fact the little warming shelf in my grill has to be removed to get it underneath. It is about 6-3/4" high. I may remove the handles if that becomes an issue.
The underside has two diagonal struts that give it very good strength. The fat trough is wide enough to take a standard width paper towel, which they recommend to have in place while cooking.
The surface heated up quicker than I expected even though it is two inches or so about the original barbecue grill.
It is ideal for cooking small, or flat shaped food, not so much for round sausages which is one of the first things I tried on it!
Clean up was easy. I used a razor blade scraper and a scourer before placing it in the dishwasher.
I think this is a great gift for anyone who loves grilling and thinks they have everything already!

Certainly a well made professional product, making grilling on this griddle quite enjoyable and tasty!! It's a keeper! This griddle grills foods nice and evenly. The high walls work well in keeping food in. I actually like this size of griddle for my wife and I, as we can grill items we need on the griddle taking up half of the grill cooking area and then other food items on the other half of the cooking area. I did have a little difficulty turning food towards at the back where our warming rack sits. All the instructions were written simply and were easy to follow. The product suggestion to place a wet paper towel in the grease trough was a good one, making clean up easier. I recommend this product, I've only had it a couple weeks and have become a big fan!

The Little Griddle Stainless Steel Barbecue Griddle weighs in around 9 lbs. and measures, with handles on, 16” deep, 14” wide and 6 ¾” tall. It is well made of stainless steel in China, and requires a small amount of easy assembly to install the handles.
I have been using the griddle on an older gas BBQ. The griddle takes up 2 of 4 gas burners and requires a 15 minute pre-heat with my not very hot grill. Once hot, the griddle is excellent. I have cooked hamburgers, chicken breast, blackened catfish, quesadillas, fried rice and vegetables, all with a small amount of oil, and with excellent non-stick results. Cooking time is reasonable but perhaps a little slower than other methods, but as I mentioned my grill is not that hot. The high sidewalls that surround the cooking surface keep food on the griddle and aid in plating food especially the fried rice.
Clean up consists of scraping the surface, adding some extra water or oil, and using a griddle cleaning pad. Results are not perfect but they are acceptable.
At first glance, I thought this griddle was quite large but after using it I feel that it is good for one or two meals at a time only. For example, I was able to cook 1 catfish fillet, reheat rice and finish some vegetables all at the same time but it was only enough for 1 serving. This is fine for me but some cooks may want to consider the bigger model.
The Little Griddle Stainless Steel Barbecue Griddle is a terrific, well-built cooking tool, far exceeding my expectations. I look forward to using it more often and to see how well it sears meat cooked sous-vide.

This griddle is made very well with solid stainless steel and easy to attach handles. The size was perfect as it takes up half of my grill so two cooking operations can occur at the same time. Of course, picking up online orders is seamless at my local Home Depot and the staff is friendly and will help whenever asked.
