Product Overview

  • Strong, 2-part epoxy resin/hardener system for high-strength bond
  • Highly resistant, sets in 8 minutes, and cures fully in 24 hours
  • Can be painted, sanded, and is great for diverse applications
Loctite Metal and Concrete Epoxy is a two-part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. The convenient syringe dispenses equal amounts of each component every time. When mixed in equal volumes, resin and hardener react to produce a tough, rigid, high strength bond in 5 to 12 minutes. It is used as an adhesive for repairing, filling and rebuilding all metal and concrete surfaces. Loctite Epoxy Metal / Concrete does not conduct electricity which is ideal for sealing electrical components. It cures to a metallic gray finish and can be easily sanded or machined. It does not shrink and is resistant to water and most common solvents. Recommended for bonding metal and concrete as well as glass, ceramic and wood. Use it for repairing machinery, appliances, tools, lawnmowers, automotive components, pipes, embedding bolts and screws into metals, concrete or stone and sealing electrical components against moisture and vibration.
  • Provides a permanent, high-strength bond in concrete and metal repair projects
  • Works great on railings, awnings, posts, brick, concrete and cinderblock
  • Convenient dual syringe allows the perfect mixture of resin and hardener in every application
  • Bond sets after 5 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours
  • Will not conduct electricity, can be used to seal electrical components
  • Resistant to water, solvents, moisture and impact
  • Can be painted and sanded
  • High strength bond in 5 to 12 minutes
  • California residents see Prop 65 WARNINGS

The Loctite 0.85 fl. oz. Metal and Concrete Epoxy bonds to wood and most metals, so this product should work fine for this application to unsealed wood

Is this the best epoxy for steel floor anchors For my two post car lift

Asked by: Carlift
Thank you for taking the time to share your question. The Loctite Epoxy Metal/Concrete is designed for imbedding bolts or screws into metals, concrete or stone but may not be suitable for this intended application. Due to the technical nature of the intended use it is recommended you contact the manufacturer of the lift for their installation instructions and recommendations. Keep in mind there are several different types of structural epoxies and not all may be suitable for your particular project.

Will this work for attaching an undermount sink? Porcelain to granite.
Asked by: Pickle
The Loctite Metal and Concrete Epoxy is not designed for mounting sinks to countertops in under mount sink situations. Undermount sink clips or similar mechanical attachments should be used.

Will this glue cast metal I need for a broken peace on a belt sander.

Asked by: Johnm
The Loctite Metal/Concrete Epoxy will bond to cast metal. The success will depend upon amount of available bonding surface you have and the amount of stress the repaired area maybe subject to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Used this to reattach a broken corner of a concrete stair. Has help up for a few months. As per the previous reviewer having trouble attaching steel to concrete - I wonder if the concrete was new? Newer concrete is still hydrating and thus still has moisture present which could affect the bond. My concrete was about 50 years old. No problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No success attempted to adhere a steel angle to bottom of a concrete countertop. Scuffed up the concrete surface a bit to create a better bond, applied the epoxy, smeared/mixed the two chemicals together, and clamped on the metal angle. After 24 hours, the epoxy never set and I could wiggle the steel angle with one hand. Even as an engineer, I can't determine what went wrong. No moisture, 60-degrees, metal-to-concrete, clamped for 24-hrs, and the epoxy was still liquidity. hopefully this doesn't ruin the countertops.
