Q:do you have any other color
by|Jan 18, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for the question. Loctite PL Concrete Self-Leveling Polyurethane Sealant only comes in one color. Unfortunately, there are no color standards for concrete and masonry sealants and never has been. The color will vary from batch to batch and from manufacturer to manufacturer of these products.

Q:I am installing a metal building on a concrete slab. Which is better to use for a watertight seal between the concrete & bottom of steel framing. PL Self Leveling Concrete Polyurethane Sealant or PL Non-Sag Concrete Crack and Masonry Polyurethane Sealant?

    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for the question. We would not recommend using a self-leveling sealant for this project. Loctite PL Concrete Non-Sag Polyurethane Sealant would be best for the application described.

Q:Can you apply concrete adhesive primer over it and then epoxy on the garage floor?
      by|Oct 25, 2022
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for the question. Loctite PL Concrete Self-Leveling Polyurethane Sealant can be painted or coated once the sealant is fully cured. However, it is best to check with the manufacturer of the adhesive primer beforehand and test for compatibility keeping in mind, based on accepted industry standards and practices, using rigid paints and/or coatings over flexible sealants can result in a loss of adhesion of the applied paint and/or coating, due to the potential movement of the sealant.

It Bubble up and does not work
I purchased 4 of the large tubes to seal driveway cracks. it went in fine with no issue on dry and clean concrete, and came in the next day the all lines are bubbled up. It looks horrible now and I am sure this will cause worst issues for the winter as it lack the water from air and freezes. I should have sticked with other brands like Sika. Very bad product, don't waste your money on it. Pay couple of bucks extra and get better quality stuff.

            Horrible
I cannot recommend this product in good conscience. The cure time is 7 DAYS, and they are not kidding. I used this to seal and fill cracks on my garage floor, and 4 days later I still cannot use my garage. A fresh concrete pour dries faster than this stuff. The sealant remains tacky throughout, and now looks like crap. Dust, bugs, etc., are permanently stuck on the surface. Keeping the floor clean for a few hours is easy, but impossible over several days of unpredictable weather.

Works great! Love that it's the right consistency and self-levels. Filled cracks in my driveway.

I bought 2 tubes in the store. One was great but the second was dry. The store graciously refunded my money for the one tube. I was so impressed with how our garage floor looked after filling a few joints that I ordered a case and used almost all of it, covering 2500 sf. I ended up painting the garage floor and now it's virtually seamless. Now I will not have to deal with crud being embedded in the cracks of my garage floor. I highly recommend this task!

Went out the next day to buy more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I think I'm going to have to buy more! I love this stuff. I know it's supposed to be used for sealing cracks in concrete, but we used it to hold together cinder blocks. My wife and I saw a few cinderblock and wood benches on pinterest and decided to build some in our backyard. This Concrete Sealant is a bit thicker than you might expect, so be prepared to put a bit of force into it. We cut a small bit off the tip and then a bit more. I figured it would be better to start small and then go bigger if needed, just in case it was a bit loose. Application went smoothly and once we applied the blocks we let it sit for a few hours just to be sure. Our benches have been used by multiple friends and family since being built and show no signs of coming loose or shifting. We have plans to build two more benches in the next week or so, just in time for a Christmas Campfire.

                  Strong Hold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this stuff to reinforce some older wooden bookshelves and found it work fantastic. Definitely has a strong hold & dries quickly. I'm glad I gave it a try because the bookshelves are older and handmade and I did not want to use nails or screws. Power Grab is a super strong adhesive that bonds to many different surfaces. Effective in all weather conditions and has a zero second Instant grab. Interior and exterior projects and sets in 10 minutes and cures in 24hrs. I will be picking up some more for an outdoor project next, I am very happy with the ease and quickly it solved my problem. Overall, power grabs functionality is excellent and I absolutely recommend getting some for your next project. You won't be disappointed.

                    Careful How Much You Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This concrete crack sealant is so much easier to use than the bucket and trowel alternatives. A caulk gun and a little practice is all you need. Since this is a self-leveling product, you have to be careful how much you apply. Too much and it will run into undesired areas. The fact that this product will expand and contract is perfect for driveways or concrete patios. This product is not intended for vertical surfaces.

                      Great sealant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to fix the cracks in my cinder blocks it seems to be a great sealant. The self leveling is great. I plan on using this product on all my cracks in my driveway and blocks.

                        Blends well, seals well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for expansion joints and cracks in concrete. It is awesome for garage floor joints when you are painting/redoing the concrete. It self levels and also water/weather resistant. It is flexible - which is especially needed for cold areas where the building cloud shift ever so slightly. Wear gloves while applying the sealant and do not go very fast, you'll have a mess. Store the sealant inside and not in a cold garage or shed - it will be hard to get out. It needs to be at room temperature before you try to use.
