Loctite PL 300 VOC Foamboard Adhesive is a premium grade formulation for bonding foamboard insulation to a variety of surfaces, interior or exterior. It is compatible with all foamboard insulation products. Loctite PL 300 VOC is a latex-based adhesive especially designed for bonding polystyrene foam to itself or to a variety of construction materials, including, but not limited to wood, gypsum board, concrete and brick. Low VOC formulation meets stringent State and Federal VOC Regulations.

I'm using it to glue XPS to concrete foundation. How many 4x8 sheets of XPS per 1 tube? Do you know the better adhesive?

how high temp will this adhesive stand?

If you use this product to adhere foam to anything else the foam will melt before the adhesive.

I have a foam board sign with a small hole and a crack. Can PL300 be use to repair it? Can PL300 be painted?

It should work fine to repair the crack. I have successfully used it to repair white foam when gluing to a board. It dries with a light blue tint which I was able to paint within hours of it setting.

I had to remove the XPS board after sticking. When I did that some adhesive is left sticking to the basement wall. Do I need to remove that before putting the next board? Also, what do I need to use to remove the adhesive from the wall?

Thank you for the question. Yes, removal of any cured adhesive is recommended. This is industry best practice to avoid any go forward bonding issues
