The yellow material in the dispenser will not flow. Don't buy.
Bought it three weeks ago. First time I tried to use it it would not flow evenly out of the plunger dispenser. Basically the yellow side was so viscous that you ended up with nothing but the clear material. If you pushed hard enough on the plunger to make a little of the yellow material flow the it would dispense a large amount of clear material but the plunger would just bend and the yellow side would only ooze out in unusable quantities. Crap product. I've used different Loctite products forever -since I was a kid building cars - but no more. I'll stick with JB Weld from now on out. I guess the problem is poor quality control and an unwillingness to recall bad product after it has shipped.

Thank you for your feedback. The Loctite Epoxy Plastic has a gel/set time of 4-10 minutes depending on how the two parts were mixed together. Time is based on mixing equal parts together, temperature, humidity, and thickness of epoxy applied. Usable strength takes 1 hour or longer to develop and full cure takes up to 24 hours.

Good stuff. Not the best but its ok. Walmart has better stuff that even holds pressure and waterproof.

          Worked great
This did the job repairing some plastic fence parts. My only complaint is the time it took to cure while I had to hold one piece together by hand....almost 15 minutes.

            Quick Plastic Epoxy Seal Fix

Caution! - Poor Instructions, Plunger Came Right Off...
Purchased this as it sounded perfect to repair broken plastic part on refrigerator. Am always wary of these adhesives so checked manufacturer's promotion piece on how to use on 'YouTube'. The instructions on the package are woefully inadequate: "1. Remove cap from plunger. 2. Pull plunger back slightly..." Needless to say the whole plunger just came adrift and spilled everywhere.

Great product for repairing hard plastics
I bought this to repair my daughter's plastic toy that had broken. I've had mixed success with super glue (cyanoacrylate) on many hard plastics, so I gave this a try. Given the nature of the broken plastic, I was skeptical anything would work, but this worked very well and was surprisingly strong. I have since used it to repair a cracked cap on a rattle spray can--it was a shiny slick plastic that I didn't think could be repaired--I know that superglue does not work with that plastic. But the epoxy bonded well and rescued the cap. And I just used it on a camping tarp to re-attach a plastic grommet that had fallen off. I've now added this epoxy to my camping repair kit. Like any 2 part epoxy, follow the instructions and mix the two parts well before applying it. And despite the claim of a quick drying time, I usually let it sit overnight to fully cure before I touch the object. I also keep the syringe sealed in a ziploc bag when I store it with the hopes that it will last a little longer, and also handle any leaking from the container. As others have noted, this product is not designed for polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon or other non-stick surfaces, and is not for wet areas or submerged items. Since I know very little about identifying plastics, and since polyethylene and polypropylene and very common plastics, I guess I'm just going to have to try this epoxy on a plastic and see if it works. I guess for now my general assumption will be that it may not work with softer plastics.

Great Product (if you follow instructions)
I made the same mistake as other users and the product didn't "cure" after 48 hours. The step I missed was mixing the two together (thoroughly) on a paper plate prior to applying it to the plastic. If you fail to do this the product will be a gooey mess the next day.

                Bad container?
The glue itself did what it was supposed to do on a couple of projects, but that was all I was able to use the glue for. I was even able to bond wood and aluminum together! Unfortunately the tube it came it leaked the hardener all over the inside of my toolbox. It came out from the backside of the tube where the black handle goes into the clear container. The next time I tried to use it, there was nothing left but the yellow side. If it wasn't for this, I'd definitely buy this again.

Good product for some plastic items...
The particular job I got this for it did not work on. But have used it on other items and it seems to do a good job. First item was an impellar on a carpet machine. It had a crack, tried glueing it but with the fast spinning motion it would not hold.

                  What's wrong with this picture?
I bought this product because it's specifically advertised to bond plastics. But, what's the disclaimer INSIDE the package? Will not bond polyethylene and/or polypropylene products.... only the most common types of plastics.

Healed fiberglass pressure tank for well
My 20 yr. old fiberglass pressure tank for my well water supply developed a slow leak at the base. I cleaned it, dried it with a heat gun, globbed on the epoxy and waited. NO drip. And that was 2 years ago. It does what it claims. The odor is pretty intense, so keep a fan blowing.
