Loctite Power Grab Ultimate Construction Adhesive does have an instant grab characteristic, and under normal conditions, holding in place for about 30 seconds or more should be sufficient. However, composition, weight of the objects being bonded, and vertical load conditions need to be considered. Under certain conditions, temporary blocking may be required until the adhesive is fully cured, typically 24 hours, and may take up to 7 days. The time frames mentioned are dependent on temperature, humidity, amount of adhesive used, and the substrate's porosity. However, you are welcome to try using this product, and it may work depending upon the specific ceiling tile composition and manufacturer’s installation instructions, understanding that because this is an overhead application, bracing may be required until the adhesive cures. It is recommended that you consult the ceiling manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations, as not all ceiling tiles can be glued, and test for adhesion and suitable, acceptable results prior to using it in your entire application.

        Can this product be used to bond acrylic shower wall panels to cement backer board? If not directly, would priming the backer board make a difference?

              Favorite Construction Adhesives
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loctite is one of my favorite construction adhesives. I have the transition between the tiles and laminates removed and I tried to put it back using Loctite adhesive. So far it helps the wood pieces stayed in place.

                Great product!!!
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Loctite Power Grab Ultimate and is sooooo good!!!!! In the pictures you can see that I adhere my mirror to the wall in my bathroom and let it dry for 24 hours and it holds very strong, also I used it to glue cement blocks together and they glued very strong too. I recommend it 100%.

                    A must have for your household!

It’s high quality and professional grade so you’re truly getting the best durability with this product. It works in all conditions and on a variety of different materials such as wood, metal, and drywall. I got this from my dad since he’s used other brands but always wanted to try Loctite. He said the adhesive is like no other. The design is user friendly, making it easy to control how much of the product comes out. It also allows for you to safely store it when you’re finished with your work. My dad has had a great time with it so far and he’s excited to continue finding new projects to do using Loctite Power Grab Ultimate!                       Great adhesive for household projects
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This power grip was great to put a birdhouse together. It holds up well and is very strong and would be good to use on other household items, such as household repairs or miscellaneous things that you would need a strong adhesive ..The only thing that I needed to do was buy a caulking gun so if you do buy this, you will need to buy one as well.. I let the birdhouse dry overnight and it was a strong solid hold in the morning. I am very pleased with this product.

                        Quick drying, effective and easy to use

Can withstand weather. It easy to use as any other adhesive or silicon. It dries fast so helpful to have a paper towel or gloves for easy cleanup. Highly recommend for an adhesive.

                            Hard to dispense but seems to work well
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Loctite came with a cool cap that can be removed to clean. The adhesive itself is very hard to push out. My husband had a hard time as well. It does not have a strong odor like other adhesives. We used it to secure a finicky threshold from wood floors to tile- both surfaces this glue claims to work on. So far, it’s holding up.
