Loctite TITE FOAM Gaps & Cracks Dual Use is a new generation of polyurethane-based insulating foam sealant. It expands to fill, seal and effectively insulate gaps and cracks up to 1 inch in size, inside and out. The unique Dual Use applicator system allows you to choose between a traditional straw applicator or a foam gun with the same can. Loctite TITE FOAM Gaps & Cracks Dual Use has a bright white color and offers premium durability with its high density, flexibility, strong adhesion and UV resistance. Use to seal out air, moisture and pests in basements or crawlspaces, attic hatches and plumbing, HVAC or electrical penetrations. It is recommended for use in both interior and exterior environments and is sandable and paintable.

This stuff is Wonderful! If it was more practical there is nothing I would rather use to insulate any part of my home. in regards to its expansion it takes some getting used to and it can go significantly quick but once you get the hang of it it becomes more efficient each time you use it. It's workability makes it that much more useful. And it doesn't seem to clog as quickly as its competitor Great Stuff. it is also multipurpose use so you don't have to buy individual bottles for individual tasks. Just like in my picture below, I was able to insulate a 2 inch gap in between two studs without an issue. It saved me from having to cut it really difficult piece of hard foam insulation. this is highly recommended

This stuff is GREAT!! We had a break in so we needed temporary security guards. When the wind blew the rain entered into the house and made a bigger muddy mess. A quick trip to our local Home Depo and a little LOCTITE TITEFOAM and we were all dry until the house was put back in order!!!

Works but be careful
I bought it for an unusual use. I have a chair with storage armrests and the wood under the top pad on one of the armrests broke when I leaned on it. It made about a two inch hole that was driving me nuts. I thought i could use the foam to fill the area from below. I drilled a hole in the bottom and started filling with foam. I underestimated the expansion and hardness of the foam. I used most of the can and had it come seeping back out and bulge in places I didn't want. It seemed to continue to expand for a couple hours. It also got harder than I thought. Plus side. it had little oder. I have tried using acetone to dissolve some of it and will try a product the depot sells to remove foam and sealers. But as an insulation and hole sealer it works great.

While trying to put spray attachment on the foam went all over and is extremely hard to remove from skin. (I did have protection on.) I was using in large outdoor planter @3ft. tall. Foam grew over night and I had to trash planters

The Loctite TITE FOAM Gaps and Cracks is a 3-time expanding foam. Filling large cavities or deep holes should be done layers allowing for expansion of each layer before applying the next. This helps prevent overfilling situations.

MUST be shaken and used as directed re: temperature. Seems to need more than an hour to cure at lower temps. Really large areas exceeding 2-3 inches will need minimum of 24hrs to cure all the way through. Cured product is stable and cuts easily with serrated knife or loose hacksaw blade. Can be painted and holds fast.
