Bought this adhesive to glue rubber Velcro wrist tabs on jacket that separated. Worked perfectly. Easy to use. Dries clear. Be sure to use in ventilated area. Been able to use on a couple more repairs. Only wish that adhesive came out in a thinner stream - used toothpick to put on in small area.

I purchased this after noticing in my 15-year old leather couch some cracking in the non-leather(vinyl) sections between the seats in the hope that this would repair the cracking and prevent it from getting worse and more noticeable.
I would suggest that this type of vinyl repair is for certain types of jobs versus the other types of vinyl repair kits. In this case, I was not worried about how this would look since the cracking is occurring between the seating and the cracks are not visible. Although this is a clear glue, this will make the area a bit shiny versus what the normal material looks like. If you are needing something more aesthetically pleasing, I would suggest using a vinyl repair kit that also has a color matching gel that you can put over the crack to help the repair blend in.
Also, you need to be careful on vertical cracks as this does tend to run a bit and you have to watch from putting too much and it dripping or running down into an area you don’t want. I found that using my finger to apply made it easier to do without causing a mess. It wasn’t too difficult to get off my finger afterwards.
Also, in my case, I had to find something (I ended up using a couple empty plastic bottles) to keep the seating spread apart long enough for the glue to dry, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
So far, the repairs have held up and there has been no further cracking. This works fine for my purpose. Depending on the job you have and how you want it to look, this works fine, but if you want the repair to blend in, then you may need a color repair kit instead.

Ruined my floor
I had a spot where my floating luxury vinyl floor was peeling apart so i bought this thinking it would bond it back together... wrong! It melted my floor and now its ruined right in the middle of the room. Be careful with where/how you use this product...
This Locktite is the only adhesive that works with leather, rubber, plastics, metals - it is probably the best glue that I have ever used. It is the ONLY glue that will permanently glue my hiking boot toes back to the sole.

Not perfect but does work
I purchased this after noticing in my 15-year old leather couch some cracking in the non-leather(vinyl) sections between the seats in the hope that this would repair the cracking and prevent it from getting worse and more noticeable. I got this locally from one of the box home improvement stores mainly because it was cheaper at 3 dollars versus the current cost of nearly 6 here.

The product dried hard and unflexable...and it didn't repair the vinyl. A waste of time and money.
