How thick will it weld in a single pass when plugged into 110 volt outlet with a 20 amp delay fuse
Asked by: Harold
On 110v, you can still get on a single pass a weld of 3/8" thick. You can run it on a 15amp breaker as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from weldinsheldon got this machine from an online order, fast, & in good condition, it welded right out of the box with a 3,500 watt generator on rural property. I had absolutely no problem welding 6011 1/8 rods as some other reviews stated. 7018 runs great also & I think this is the best stick rod welder you can buy for the price. I love it. Especially the fine amperage control with digital readout. I have been welding professionally for 32 years and I highly recommend this welder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flexible, portable, lightweight little welder. Overall I am very impressed with this unit. I've used it for about four or five days now. I welded up about a dozen little t joints. I ran countless beads on some 1/4" scrap. I've done two small repairs. I've ran 6011, 6013, and 7018 in both 3/32" and 1/8". I seem to have a lot trouble keeping the 6011s lit in both diameters. The 6013s and 7018s run great in both sizes. They are very smooth. The accessories are about what I expected. The electrode holder seems well made with decent spring tension. The work clamp works well, however the copper strap between the top and bottom has already broken. Both leads are plenty large enough for 140 amps. The unit is very lightweight and seems sturdy. The dial is responsive and accurate. I welding on and off for well over two hours and never had the unit shutdown, even at 120+ amps. It was packaged well and didn't have any damage at all after shipment. The pigtail for 110v power is larger diameter and works well. My only real concerns are the difficulty of running 6011 rods, and the work clamp is a little weak. I'll probably replace it soon. Not because it doesn't work, but just because a good one is so cheap. I would recommend this welder to anyone. I would surely buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great welder I'm a retired diesel mechanic and have welded over 35 years. I found other cheap welders online and all had bad reviews. Like came bent up in the box or broken and then they had to pay shipping to send it back. Then I saw this one on the Home Depot app and it had really good reviews, so I bought it and it worked perfect. I got some 6011

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very happy with this welder, it works better... I am very happy with this welder, it works better then my Lincoln welder, I been welding for 37 years, and this is a very good machine, I hope it last me for many years to come, no complaints from me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from worthy machine for the price I got my machine about a week ago. I am a welding student an figured it would be nice to practice at home on some small projects. My package came on time and everything as advertised was included. Although the stinger they gave me was definitely used some wear an tear but a new a one is less then 20 dollars so I'm not making an issue of it. Overall the machine runs well not major complaints. Since I'm a Welding student I only have the machine I work on in my class to compare it to which is a multi process Miller so there is no comparison.. Happy with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased I gotta say this little welder is nice. Perfect for the home. Just install a 220v plug on any 30 amp wire rated and your set with a powerful enough welder and the 120v set up is good enough for most home jobs as well. Pushes 1/8 rod in 220 well and I have had zero run ins with duty cycle at all. Was delivered in perfect shape and was welding right outta the box. I almost bought the miller 150s instead but saved 800 bucks and am happy with this one. If you want a small welder for home jobs this is it and if your wanting to learn as you go this is it as well. The 120 option is very handy and is super light and a deal at the price. Time will tell how long it will last but I have no doubt I will get my money and more out of it. I have tested 5/32 1/8 rods in 6011 and 7018 with good results and in 220v set up I can get good penetration on 1/4" and I believe you could go higher for sure on non critical welds.
