it was exactly as they said
I opened it up and laid it out. it looked weird and I kept wondering how this lump would disappear. as they daddy went out it smoothed out. later you could see it plumping up. I measured it and it was the correct size. won't know about true comfort till college Stuart's, but felt great to touch. sorry should be day, not daddy and start not Stuart. Couldn't correct in phone

Feels great! not the same as the yellow foam, definitely dosent retain heat like my old yellow 3” topper eggshell kind which was a firestorm, this one is worth it just for that at least. The main part i enjoy is its density is much different only negative issue about it is that the listed details are completely wrong the details listed for a king are not king size what i recieved was 71x71 which is not king size and it looks incredibly stupid on the bed and sucks up pillows and covers so sometimes you may have a crinked neck from the topper consuming your pillow in the depression left by the incorectly cut foam topper and that is why i left 3 stars.

Having slept on a waterbed for 43 years, I think ANY new mattress would be considered 'firm'. I selected a Serta 12" gel memory foam mattress and placed it inside the waterbed frame. Yes, it was very firm, leaving me with a lower back ache in the morning.. After reading many reviews, I decided on a 3" Serta Gel Swirl Memory Foam topper. The first couple of nights I really didn't notice any difference and I didn't notice any chemical odors. It has now been a couple of weeks and the back aches are lessening so I think I'm getting used to it. It definitely has made the surface softer and more comfortable. I would recommend this topper along with a little patience in making the adjustment.

This topper is a good combination of soft but supportive. Personally, I would prefer softer but memory foam seems to be firmer when you lie down on it and forms to your body after a few minutes. It’s a bit bigger than my bed but sheets still fit. On another website I saw a review that you can cut the topper to fit better by using an electric knife. I thought that was interesting. . I think it’s a quality product.

Quality product but not right for us. Too soft. We both sunk into the foam WAY too much and neither of us cracks 150 lb in weight. Maybe it's better for back sleepers. As side sleepers, we were not comfortable as we sunk in too much creating bad posture and pressure points. Maybe 2 in would have been a little firmer but this 3 in one wasn't for us.

Toppers are a great way to soften the feel of a too-firm mattress and thicker toppers will have a plusher feel and a deeper sink. Since this topper was too soft for you and sank to much, we recommend a thinner topper.
A 2-inch topper will still soften the feel of your bed, but it won’t sink as much which means you will feel more supported by the mattress.

I got this mattress topper a couple of days ago and it is incredibly soft, my body just melts into it, and is the best investment I could have made. I suffer with back and neck pain and my bed was only making it worse. This topper is so soft I can sleep through the night and not suffer in pain all day. When I took it out of the box I was amazed at how little it looked but it quickly inflated to its normal size and fits my bed perfectly. I also love that it goes back to normal state quickly after getting off of it.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I have been holding off buying a new mattress because our current one is not that old, but my husband & I wake up sore & tired. I decided to buy this as a “last resort”. When I unpacked it & let it expand, I was amazed how thick & plush it is! The quality is truly top notch!
I really can’t get over the difference in the sleep quality. After the first night we used it, we felt refreshed & well rested. The first time in a long time we did not wake up with back pain. Even our daughter, who slept in our bed that night, slept a little later. It is amazing & truly a must for anyone who sleeps. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, my only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner. Highly recommend & love this topper.
