Broke under light use.
Worked great for about a year but suddenly stopped working. I take very good care of my tools and have used Lufkin for years but this wheel left me stranded. The counter just stopped working. Can’t hear any gears skipping or anything just stopped working for some odd reason. Major inconvenience while out bidding a job.

Not worth the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to say 2-1/2 out of 5 stars. Overall construction is decent. Price is a little steep for what it's made out of. There is a lot plastic on this particular measure wheel. The handle length and size of the wheel are good however.

Works Great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool. It works great, and it has a bunch of extra handy features. The handle folds up nicely. It locks in both the folded and unfolded positions. It also has a nice kick stand. I use it more than i thought I would.

Great kickstand and collapsible!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is excellent just like their other tools. The collapsing feature is very handy to save space. The folding kickstand is also really nice so that you don't have to set it down flat in mud. What was surprising was how sturdy the folding mechanism was. There was zero wobble. Overall a great tool!

Wonderful Measuring Wheel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The measuring wheel is wonderful. Accurately measures off grade with no issue. I was able to measure out for a fence and for some conduit. The wheel will measure forwards and backwards so be careful not to roll it backwards when using it. The handle could be a little longer on it, but I'm tall so that's normal with tools like this. It does have a kickstand on it so you can stand it in place that works really well. I'd definitely recommend this.

Accurate and Easy to Use

I used it to measure my property and my neighbor borroed it to measure some distances for HS track practice. She referenced her measurement with the football field and it was spot on. Mine matched up perfectly with my plat as well.

Crescent measuring wheel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is awesome & easy to use. The big wheel makes it easier to use on rough terrain. The kickstand comes in handy when needing to write measurements. The numbers are easy to read and also fast and easy to reset the counter.

Well made

Great tool, but needs some tweaks
While I absolutely hate this give this tool a low rating, I feel like it still needs a little tweaking to be worthy of the Lufkin/Crescent name. I love how smoothly the wheel rolls over rough terrain or in grass. The kickstand on it is a great feature. However, the latch that should hold it together when it is extended breaks rather easily. When it’s folded up and stuck in a box, or in the back of your truck with other tools, the plastic latch extends out passed the folded arm leaving it vulnerable to anything sliding around back there. Maybe make this piece out of something stronger, or put it in a place where it won’t be so easily broken.

Nice compact measuring wheel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great measuring wheel. It folds out nice and is easy to fold back up. It dosnt take up alot of space. Nice size 12 in wheel makes measuring easy and the read out is easy to read. The kick stand is a value added bonus.
