Grease coupler that works
This is the first heavy-duty quick release grease coupler that actually works. I have tried a bunch of different types that were made cheaply and would break, would not stay on the fitting, would not release, or just would not work, but this one is a keeper. It has a great seal, the locking lever is easy to use, and it is made to last. This is a must have for anyone.

Greasing made easy
Now I have no excuse for doing it right. I have some grease fitting locations that make it very difficult to feel comfortable that I have a sufficient amount of grease delivered. I’m not using this coupler to its full potential. I use a hand grease gun. I appreciate the manufacturer making the bottom of this coupler a hex shape so I can use a wrench to put the coupler at the angle I need. The coupler won’t reach the fitting on my jack, but that is a small thing. I need to keep another grease gun handy for that, or temporarily change the coupler. But on the truck this coupler is so nice to use. I locked it on a fitting and started pumping the grease. There was resistance. Then the grease went in. I am going to like using this coupler and the truck will last longer.

Sticks like glue to the Zirc fittings
This grease gun tip is manually operated via the easy to use lever built into it. Just flip the lever up for a fully open tip then place it on the Zirc fitting and flip it shut. It locks on to the tip and won't pop off if you have to build up high pressure to clear a sticky Zirc fitting, with the resultant grease mess all over the Joint or electric motor you are servicing. Love that it is so easy to connect so when I am using it over head it won't fall off easily, until I flip the lever to open the tip when I am done.

Great grease couple.
I bought this a week ago. It has been such a great tool. I used to spend a lot of time and effort fighting to get stuck grease guns off of the grease nipples. I no longer have to. You just flip the latch and the grease gun unhooks from the the grease zerk. It is easy to install. You just simply have to have a wrench or a crescent wrench available. Unscrew the old grease tip and add this one.

This quick coupler makes your grease gun much more functional
I regularly grease my two garden tractors; some of the zerks are very difficult to reach. The Lumax Quick Release Coupler grabs on and stays on the zerks without me having to constantly hold the coupler on the zerk. Once the coupler is seated on the zerk, it is easy to snap down the lever and I can let go with confidence. It isn't coming off, even under lots of pressure! I tested the quick release grease coupler on various types of zerks (right angle, 45 degree, long and short) before installing on my grease gun just to prove that it would work on all the different zerks. The only issue I had was that the coupler is quite long and some of the zerks on my garden tractors are located in tight spaces, but I guess you can’t have everything. I definitely recommend the Lumax Heavy Duty Quick Release Grease Coupler for DIYers.

Heavy Duty
This Lumax heavy duty quick release grease coupler with 1/8” NPT is a great tool and a must have for any mechanic, or DYI’er who regularly using a grease gun. This quick release is heavy duty and fairly heavy for its size which shows its quality. The thumb lever is super comfortable and easy to use. The lock jaws work great and hold tight. Best feature is the non return valve so it can be disconnected at any time at any pressure. Can be used up to 15k PSI so it can basically be used with any form of grease gun from hand pump to an air greaser. Definitely recommend.

Great idea
I always have terrible getting the grease coupler off after applying grease. The Lumax Heavy-Duty Quick Release Grease Coupler 1/8 in. NPT is a simple should for easier release of the grease coupler. Can be easily disconnected up to 15000psi. No more need to twist yank or pry off the coupler suck on a grease fitting. Just slide the thumb lever and it's off! Fits most grease guns. Awesome upgrade for any grease tool

Performs Perfectly!
Easy to install and use. Used on old farm tractors, sickle bar mower & rotary cutter- old worn fittings- Lumax Quick Release Heavy Duty Coupler exceeded expectations. Held securely, didn’t leak, easy to attach and detach. Even fit small u-joints grease fitting! A very good product. Highly recommend this economical coupler that can be ordered online and shipped to any Home Depot store for free.

Great addition to a standard Grease Gun!
I have a Lumax grease gun and this was the best coupler I have ever used. I makes attaching to a zerk fitting very easy and at the same time very secure. It uncouples in a flash and does not leak. I have used the old standard tip and found that it would frequently be hard to attach and leaked when not seated well. Then to remove it I had to tug real hard to get it to release from the fitting. These are all problems of the past when you upgrade to this quick release coupler! You just push down on the thumb lever and push on the coupler to the zerk, then release the thumb lever, pump the handle to apply grease and when done just push on the leaver and the coupler will release with out any pulling or twisting like in the past.
locks on really Good
This grease coupler locks on very securely and only slight draw back need to be very straight when pushing on. After getting locked you are able to twist the angle some. I have not run into this problem yet but if you have a hidden fitting you would need a inch or so to raise the locking lever up enough to lock on. I have a different model that locks on with a push down of the lever instead of raising up but probably not something run into all the time
