They feature a clean appearance with no visible screws and mount flush to the wall. Claro wall plates are oversized to hide gaps around wall boxes and attach securely and snugly in place regardless of the wall condition. Claro wall plates are easy to install. Simply separate the front and back plates, attach the back plate to the wall with the screws provided and snap on the front plate for a clean and sophisticated look in just minutes.

AnswerThank you for contacting Lutron Support! The PD-FSQN is designed to control a standard 3-speed ceiling fan which only utilizes pull-chains to adjust its speeds. A fan that includes its own remote or wall control typically uses a proprietary control technology and would likely be incompatible with a third-party fan speed control. As always, Lutron would suggest reaching out to your fan manufacturer to verify if this control would be compatible with their fan.

LOVE THESE! Amazing how just removing the screws from the front can make such a difference! Originally bought these to complete my new bathroom remodel but then decided to replace the whole house! They look very clean and sleek. Easy to install.

Looks awesome, screws too short
The 1/4 inch screws are way too short. They are not even 1/8 of an inch longer than the depth of the wall plate, not enough thread to grab the wood. It seems to be a specialty screw which means you won't find a flat head that doesn't stick out too far at Home Depot.

The screws are designed to screw into the threaded holes on a dimmer or switch, that's why they are the length they are. I replaced all the switch plates throughout my home with the Lutron Claro plates, and they look fabulous. They give the home an updated, more modern look. They are a little pricey, but I was able to replace all the plates in the home for less than $100. I am very pleased with the purchase.

The Lutron Claro single, double, and triple gang decorator wallplates have been super easy to install and look great in my home. I just wish my local Home Depot carried the Lutron Caséta switches and accessories that the decorator wallplates were made for.

brown 1 gang wall plate
I like the design of a hidden screw plate and these are made well. I'm just nto crazy about the gloss finish on brown. I was more of a matte finish was available. I'm not a big shiny plastic fan. Other than that it worked fine. I used it on a lutron contour switch in a floatinf shelf.

These collect dirt in the side grooves that is impossible to clean!
While these look nice at first, with no visible screws, over time they collect dirt and dust like no other on the top groove. This groove is impossible to clean.

When removing a wallplate, you can easily remove the screwless top plate with your hands by starting at a corner and pulling them apart to access to any dirt that may have found its way inside.
