I am going to repaint an outside stucco over block wall. It was last painted 5 years ago with latex acrylic exterior

Lutron does not recommend painting the TT-300H, or any controls as the paint can seep into the product and cause performance issues. Lutron offers a variety of colors for this dimmer. Please reach out to our Support Team at support@Lutron.com or by phone at 1 (844) 588-7661 for additional assistance.

Use the dimmer extension cord for the market lights on my screen enclosed patio. I am very satisfied with it.

The TT-300H is not a smart device and would not pair with the Caseta Smart Bridge. Instead, Lutron recommends using the PD-3PCL and Pico remote as these will pair with the Caseta Smart Bridge.

Can I plug this into a power strip? I am using with a lamp. Thanks.

If you mean plug the dimmer into the power strip and the lamp into the dimmer cord, yes it will work as long as you have an incandescent, halogen, or dimmable LED bulb in the lamp.

Can this dimmer be used with dimmable Edison light bulbs?

Not sure what you refer to as Edison light bulbs. I use it for incandescent bulbs. The fluorescent bulbs tend to blink and not do as well when dimmed off all the way. Although you can just turn the lamp off when not in use and it won't blink.

I recommend against it. This dimmer is of good quality, but strictly designed for lighting fixtures.

Not advisable - this is really just for lamps.

Ryan, really love that idea! I wish I could answer that for you. I think you ought to give it a try. At the very least of it, and it does not work, you will have a good dimmer line to use on any lamp in your house. I wish you could let me know if the "bubble tuning" works using this. Cheers!

Can this be used with LED track lighting as long as the bulbs are dimmable?

Total wattage of fixtures and bulbs is a factor. Check label or product description for device limitations.

Arrived quickly. Easy to use; simply plug lamp into the dimmer and use it. I have used these for 15 years (first one lasted about 10 years till the cord cracked) because I have issues reaching and stretching to turn lamp off. The price has gone down since I bought the first one. It's a wonderful gadget that I highly recommend.

This dimmer switch does exactly what it's supposed to! I'm using it with a floor lamp in a corner next to a couch. In photo it is hanging over the back of the couch... Be sure to order the dimmer for incandescent and Halogen, if that's the kind of bulb you're using; there is another model for CFL and LED bulbs.

A light dimmer. It plugs into the wall and you plug the light into it. It must be within easy reach so you can adjust the brightness of the light. So you have the lamp cord plugged into this thing on your desk which has its own line cord going down to the outlet. What a mess! Right? Wrong! Lutron designed the Credenza dimmer with a special outlet for the lamp as part of the Lutron 120-volt plug. All cords are out of sight. Great design!
