Asked by Chris January 4, 2021Lutron continuously updates the compatibility websites with the best performing LEDs. If the LEDs preferred are not listed on the websites, then Lutron suggests contacting the LED manufacturer for a list of compatible dimmers.
Are these gloss black or matte black?

Does it come in white? The closest color choice I see is biscuit.

This there a light in the switch? ( to locate switch at night)
Asked by Clueless December 9, 2020The DVCL-153P does not have a locator light. If locator lights are desired, Lutron would recommend the MACL-153M instead.
Is this a matte finish?
Asked by ka October 11, 2020Thank you for your interest in Lutron products. The Diva LED+ dimmer in the Almond color has a Gloss finish. However, the Biscuit and Eggshell colors have a matte finish.

Asked by Sue August 16, 2020The DVCL-153P is rated for 150W of compatible LED. Lutron recommends viewing the actual wattage of the LED being used, instead of the wattage equivalent. To see which LEDs are compatible with this, or any other Lutron dimmer, please visit www.lutron.com/ledfinder.
how many switches can be ganged together
Asked by rumbd July 19, 2020Lutron offers wallplates that can accommodate up to six switches/dimmers ganged together. In order to correctly fit multiple switches/dimmers together, they will need to be derated. This is accomplished by removing the heat sink tabs on the sides of the switch/dimmer.
How many amps is this switch?
Asked by Me June 20, 2020The DVCL-153P does not have a specific amperage rating, but rather wattage ratings. This dimmer is rated for 150W of compatible LED/CFL or 600W of incandescent/halogen lighting. Lutron does not recommend exceeding these ratings. If LEDs will be used with the DVCL-153P, please visit www.lutron.com/ledfinder to see which LEDs are compatible.
Will this fit in a 3 outlet plate?
Asked by Rick April 8, 2020Yes, the DVCL-153P can fit in a 3-gang decorator/designer wall plate. Lutron's example is the CW-3. The heat sink tabs may need to be removed to make clearance.
