A: Hello Kris, thank you for your question. The Diva LED+ dimmer will fit any standard wall junction box, minimum depth 2.5 in., will be able to gang next to any standard switch in a two-switch box, and will fit with any Designer/Decora/Decorator-style wallplate opening. See the below specification sheet for more information: https://assets.lutron.com/a/documents/369682.pdf We hope this helps! If you require further assistance, our 24/7 support team is here to help. We can be reached at 1-844-LUTRON1 or via email at email@example.com.
A: It should - I have installed them in both 1 switch and 3 switch plates/boxes with no problem.
A: Yes. You can break off the fins on the side if needed.
A: No. They are line voltage.
A: Hello! The DVCL-153P is not a 0-10V dimmer switch. The DVCL-153P is a 120V line-voltage dimmer switch for use with forward-phase Compatible LEDs or Incandescent/Halogen lighting. If you are looking for a 0-10V dimmer in a similar style, we recommend taking a look at the DVSTV-453P! If you still have questions or concerns, please give us a call at 1-844-LUTRON1. We're here 24/7, so you can reach out anytime, day or night.
A: No they are not I just returned one for that reason
A: I am not an electrician. The dimmer will not bring the light off at the lowest level. There is light (barely).
A: As long as tape lighting and driver are dimmable it should
A: Hello! Currently, there's no industry standard or regulation for manufacturing LEDs, which is why performance varies with dimming controls. That's why we extensively test a variety of LEDs from many different manufacturers and offer a mobile-friendly web tool to help you select bulbs that provide the best dimming performance with your Lutron dimmers. To access the tool, please visit lutron.com/ledfinder. If you have additional questions, please reach out to our Support Team at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 1-844-LUTRON1.
A: Following on to what the Lutron rep says it varies. I have 4 led recessed lights on mine and it will dim 50 to 65%. Far from 100%
A: It will dim from 100% down to about 5%. Does not go to zero.
A: You’d need 2 switches.
A: I don’t think so - the switch and dimmer are not wired independent of one another. In the off-chance that you have a three way circuit for the lights, you can put this dimmer on one side and then use a regular switch to turn the lights on and off at the level determined by the dimmer.
A: Hello Micha, thank you for your question. The Diva LED+ dimmer switch model DVCL-153PR is only rated for LED, incandescent, and halogen dimmable lighting and cannot be used to control/be connected to a bathroom fan. Although this would utilize a separate, independent device, Lutron does offer countdown timer switches for on/off control of bathroom fans.
