The Smart Bridge hub is a one-time purchase, and the Lutron App is free to download on iOS and Android devices.       A:  Hello George, thank you for your question. Caseta Wireless lighting devices can be controlled directly via Pico remotes, and they do not require the Smart Bridge hub if no phone/App access is desired. For example, the dimmer that comes in the Starter Kit, model DVRF-6L, can control up to 150W of dimmable LED and can be controlled directly via a Pico remote. For on and off only, you can use model DVRF-5NS.           Quick, easy and painless
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the quickest and easiest light switch that I have ever done. It took me a total of 20 minutes max to get it all installed and downloaded on my phone. The app is user friendly and guides you through everything for setup and you can name the lights whatever you want. Also if you don’t have your phone on you, the other option is to use the remote that it comes with. You can dim the lights on the wall mount, through the app, or on the remote. I also like that we can be away on vacation and controlling the lights from my phone. Will definitely be changing the rest of the light switches over in the rest of the house.

            Super cool!

We travel alot ans the fact that we can control our lights with our phones is the the best. It comes with.a remote, connects to wifi and the switches look just like the rest I'm our home. We have ordered more switches for the rest of the rooms!

                Simplifying my lighting control
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Diva smart dimmer for Caseta smart lighting is a new easy to install and set up smart lighting that is reliable. There is no need for a neutral wire. The Caseta Smart Hub connects to your WiFi router and works flawlessly with the Caseta App. Everything you need to get started is included in the starter kit: Smart dimmer with screwless wallplate, Smart Hub for wireless control via the Lutron app and integration with other smart home brands I was able to set it up to work with my Alexa, and I will definitely be updating all of my home lighting by simply adding more smart dimmers, which will greatly simplify my lighting control.

                    Great Starter Kit

I love that the install was super fast and the instructions were very easy to read. I love that it comes with a smart hub. The remote is so awesome and so high-tech as well. The switch was easy to install and I love using the app. I ended up putting this smart dimmer into one of the floodlights outside. And I love using the the remote every time. The easy and precise dimming of the soft glow light bar so I can find the switch a lot easier.

                          Elegant and high-tech switch!!
                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of Lutron lately after installing some sensor light switches in our bathrooms since the kids never seem to turn the light off - best purchase ever! I wanted to step up our smart-home systems with the Casita DIVA starter kit. Very nice and straightforward install over our existing family room dimmer switch. The best part about this system is the small Wi-Fi hub that allows for installing future Lutron Casita switches that will pair with our iPhone app. I love to control the light from the comfort of our couch for either reading or dimming for watching sports or movie night. Another really awesome feature is you may schedule your lights to turn on/off while away so leaves a bit more security at home while on vacation. Lastly, the "screwless" faceplate is a more seamless look on the wall which I really like. The quality and reliability of Lutron have been the best I've come across in the smart-home electronic market.

                            Super easy kit
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Diva Smart Dimmer Switch for Caseta Smart Lighting in white with Smart Hub and it took my husband about 20 minutes to install. Please note to make sure power is turned off at the breaker. Comes with a remote to mount for easy access. Once the switch is installed you have the remote options that include on/off button, and dimmer up/down buttons. The switch itself has the same on/off (top and bottom) with options to tap once for preset or twice for full on/off. The slider bar is located on the edge of the right which allows you to easily dim the lights if needed and can also be preset so when you use the app away from home it will be set to your desired lighting. This Diva Switch smart dimmer with remote and hub can be connected to any smart device such as Alexa, Apple Home, Hey Google, Ring and much more so you can control it by app or any smart device. I use mine with the app Lutron app on my phone and it’s super easy to access and use. Add device and remotes and control the lights by the app. On/off and set scenes and schedule for the lights to turn on and off. The Hub that connects to your WiFi router allows for you to connect more then one smart dimmer to each other or separate rooms for easy control. Control each individual light from every room from the Lutron mobile app. This kit gives our home an updated feel. I recommend this Diva smart switch with remote and hub kit for an update to your current lighting and an easy feel to light your home, or other lightings needs. The hub plug into the wall and connects to your WiFi for complete control.
