Is this dimmer controllable by an app, Alexa or Google?
Asked by EM April 15, 2020The MAELV-600 is not a smart dimmer and cannot be controlled by an app, Alexa or Google. Instead, Lutron recommends the Caseta Wireless product line as this may integrate with several third parties, including Alexa and Google.
I have a low voltage fixture that is switched by 2 standard 120v wall switches before a transform...
Asked by PaulC March 12, 2020Yes, the second switch would need to be replaced, as well. The MAELV-600 should be placed on the load side of the lighting circuit (where the switch leg is that leads to the light fixture). On the line side, Lutron recommends installing the MA-R companion dimmer. You can see an illustration of the wiring here: http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/368-4493_Page_18.pdf.

Asked by harry November 21, 2017The MAELV-600 is an electronic low voltage dimmer that is rated for 600W of incandescent/halogen lighting loads. While this can replace existing switches, this dimmer will require a neutral connection for proper functionality.
Will this dimmer work with 9 -25 watts Kobi electric led light bulbs on a two way switch?
Asked by KP August 14, 2017As long as the Kobi LED bulbs that you are working with are rated to be controlled by an ELV (electronic low voltage) dimmer, then this product should be compatible with the lights.
I have 10 CTL LC18RT6-ECO-B/WW led trims on 3 different switches. 5 are on a 3-way some will start to flash. ??????????

My new LED can lights are buzzing. Now wired with 2 - 3 way switches. Will the wiring work the same?
