The Contour LED+ dimmer switch provides optimal dimming performance of LED bulbs. This dimmer switch works with up to 150-Watt of dimmable LED/CFL or 600-Watt of incandescent/halogen, allowing you to control multiple bulb types on the same circuit. It is designed to control a broad range of dimmable LED and CFL bulbs from a variety of brands including Philips, Cree, GE, EcoSmart and Lighting Science. The Contour dimmer switch features a smooth slide, captive knob to adjust your light to any activity. Use the rocker switch to turn your lights off or on returning the lights to your favorite level. Coordinating Claro wall plate sold separately.

I bought several of these LED dimmers 4 years ago and was thrilled that this style was still available for the conversion of my remaining dimmers!
This style is attractive and the sliding dimmer lever is much easier to use than other styles.

Very nice design and worked well with my LED lights
I used this with a couple Lithonia wafer think LED lights. I mounted this in a box in a floating shelf with the lights. I chose this after reading a number of reviews to find one tht did not have audible hum issues. Once mounted in the enclosure I had zero audible hum. I had very faint audible hum when doing a bench test before I mounted everything. (I had to put my ear right to it in a quiet envronment to make out any hum). So that was dead on with what others had to say. So it worked great with my lights. I love the design of having the switch and dimmer in one so you can set the brightness where you wan and leave it and just turn it on and off with the rocker switch. Very nice. The switch has a soft feel to it. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the gloss finish on the dark brown. But I like the other features and the overall product enough that I"m not detracting anything for that. If like me you are wiriing 2 lights in parallel adn using wago wire nuts I would go with a deep box because it was a tight fit getting this dimmer and all my wiring into a regular box. Very tight.

Lutron more sensitive for LED
I just installed the Leviton identical to this one. I like the Lutron better. The Leviton needed tweaking to set the minimum light level. Plus the Lutron works smoother & looks better.

The website suggested this switch with the a new LED light fixture, as I was having an old ceiling fan/light fixture replaced. Electrician was impressed how well it worked and the levels it could be set, especially as a nite light for the grandchildren. He was even more impressed that I had bought the matching face cover!

This dimmer works great for two 3" Utilitech LED recessed lights above my bar. I was able to fit the switch and wiring in a standard depth electric box and the instructions for wiring were good. This can be wired single pole or 3-way.

Upgrading from my original Lutron sliding dimmer control. The new contour series is much smoother and was easy to install in the existing space. It is much easier to fine-tune the lighting you desire with the smooth sliding switch. I would definitely recommend to everybody!
