The Contour LED+ dimmer switch provides optimal dimming performance of LED bulbs. This dimmer switch works with up to 150-Watt of dimmable LED/CFL or 600-Watt of incandescent/halogen, allowing you to control multiple bulb types on the same circuit. It is designed to control a broad range of dimmable LED and CFL bulbs from a variety of brands including Philips, Cree, GE, EcoSmart and Lighting Science. The Contour dimmer switch features a smooth slide, captive knob to adjust your light to any activity. Use the rocker switch to turn your lights off or on returning the lights to your favorite level. Coordinating Claro wall plate sold separately.

Is this dimmer switch appropriate for outdoor use. In covered patio with a Taymac weather proof cover over it?
Landmann, Thank you for your interest in Lutron! The CTCL-153P dimmer is designed for indoor use and is not rated for outdoor installations. Even with a covered patio and a TayMac weatherproof cover, exposure to humidity and temperature fluctuations may affect the dimmer's performance and safety. For this reason, we do not recommend installing the CTCL-153P outdoors. When i have turn on the switch then more the light on the light flickers why? Only when its on high when I put the switch on

Is the slider bar fully attached or can it be pulled off?

How do u install this in the wall
can this replace an older round dimmer switch?
Thank you for the question! Most rotary dimmers will have fit the traditional toggler style opening, and this Contour will fit the rectangular decora style opening. Hello! The Skylark Contour does not feature fade-to-off capabilities. We recommend checking out the Maestro LED+ model MACL-153M for this feature!
