A: Thank you for reaching out. Yes, this product will work for the described application. The product can be compressed to fit so I would recommend using the 1/2" backer rod for the 3/8" gap. Thanks
A: no it won't, the polyurethane sealant adheres to the edges, which sealant you use let's you know if it adhered to wood.
A: I think it could. But it's cheap enough to try it and if it's not to your liking, pull it out. It's purpose is to fill gaps to reduce amount of caulk used to seal the gap. I used it to close the gaps in deck boards under a screened gazebo to keep insects out.
A: Thank you for reaching out. This can be used between a utility sink and a wall. Thanks
A: It could be used. Not sure how it would stay in place so caulking could be applied on top. If sheetrock, could use straight pins; block, then construction glue.
A: I don't know. I would ask a Home Depot representative or one of the many professionals that shop there.
A: Not really, I used this in the strip at the base of my garage door.
A: Thank you for reaching out. Yes, this can be used for this application. Thanks
A: It depends on how big the gap is. Usually you will shove this in and cover it with a layer of exterior caulk .
