Q:My husband and I just installed this on our older door that was very drafty. It is still very drafty. We installed it with the foam tightly compressed against the door - no give. Was that where we went wrong? Please help us troubleshoot the installation.

Q:Going by the height and width measure, this product would be a large rectangle. What is the length? It looks to be only an inch or so wide.

This is my second door weather stripping I have done.
This M-D Building Product weather strip is great makes a very good seal.

Not meant at high temperature climate.
I bought this product in March. Installed it on two south facing doors. With the hot weather we have been getting and the sun hits the weather stripping facing west the vinyl shrunk, Obviously this product is not meant to be in the sun. Contacted the manufacturer, they told me to bring it back to Home Depot for replacement with no guarantee that the replacement will stay true.

Great Product
This product was easy to install. The weather strip has created a great insulation around our front door. The door closes better and easier than it has since we moved in.

good sealing but bad quality - ripped too soon
This did prevented draft in my door whicb had large gap. But vinyl cover tear off during install process. I waa trying to press it tight against door and then i saw that it one if the corner it for ripped from corner...see photo. For now i had to use some tape instead of redoing again - may be need to replace in few months ....

Purchased this Type of Weatherstrip to replace an older style, this was very easy to install and seal perfectly, this type doesn't want to stick to the Painted surface of My Door, this winter will prove it's worth.

I used these on my garage door in NJ. They seal very well indeed and I'm looking to buy more packs for the other garage doors. Need 2 packs for each 7 ft tall and 8 ft wide garage door. They are easy to cut to size and install. Would buy again

You will need a hacksaw to get the right fit. Easy to snug tightly to door frame from outside. No leaks. Great product!

This product looks great and really helped with the air leakage around our doors. It was fairly easy to install. The directions for cutting the corners could be more informative, but we figured it out and are happy with this product and how the project turned out.

The weatherstrip worked great in sealing the door. The screws are much better than the adhesive in holding the weatherstrip in place. The design of the weatherstrip is excellent in sealing the door and very easy to install. I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend to others.
