        A:  I would recommend using a type s mortar mixed with sand. Our product has a concrete base, so it does have a little weight to it.

            I like the realistic look and ease of installation. But the color shown on the Home Depot website...
            I like the realistic look and ease of installation. But the color shown on the Home Depot website as compared to the color I received are not the same. Mine looks more like the color of " fieldstone " rather than " shawsville ". (see image) Also I ordered the 150 sq ft pallet. My project required 140 sq ft. It's a little early to say for sure but I doubt I will have enough to complete.

                Color is much more muted than what picture shows. Mostly grey and reddish. Not too many browns as shown in pic. They go up easy and with a masons chisel/hammer they are easy to manipulate to what you need. Good price for a pallet. Ya get what ya pay for and I would buy again. Still nice even though color is off.
