A: These are bicycle lifts and are not strong enough the truck canopy's.
A: Dear BR, This hanger lift was intended for bicycles. If you have additional questions about the M-Wave Bicycle Hanger- call us at 1-877-BIKEAID (245-3243) or email us at email@example.com and we would be pleased to assist. Thanks and best!
A: Yes, I feel the hooks could pull away as happened with my bike--someone ran under the bike and moved it causing the bike to fall. I fixed with a bungie cord between the two hanging clips. For you to insure that they don't pull off, use a bungie cord holding the clips on either side of the canopy to insure no rocking back and forth in either direction. Hopefully this helps you.
A: I can picture that would work. It might be a little tricky using two at once, so you would have to be careful to lift both of them at the same rate together. Once it is up, it should be fine in my opinion.
A: When I lived in Anchorage, Alaska. I hung up a small snowblower using just one set. Never had an issue of them coming off even during earthquakes. Good luck
A: It may work, but you would need at least 2 people working together when you pull it up. It would have to be balanced and pulled very carefully.
A: Yes, this could be used to hang a 3 wheel bike. The front hook goes on the handle bars and the rear hook hooks to the seat. You would just have to be sure to leave enough room around items near the bike hanger to leave room for the rear two wheels which would stick out wider than for a two wheel bike.
A: Yes. You will just have to have the the pulleys screwed into your Wood Rafters and be a little farther away from the wall.
A: The rope has a friction lock installed that stops the rope from moving once set in position. There is also a cleat to tie off the rope included.
A: It has built in locks into the hangar and also you tie the rope around the holder on the wall
A: It locks like a window shade blind latch that keeps the blinds from coming down until you manipulate the cord into position with tension. It has a latch that keeps the cord from lowering the bike unless you position the cord for release
A: Dear Gary, The weight limit for this rack is 44 lbs. If you have questions or need replacement parts under warranty for the Bicycle Hanger Lift- call us at 1-877-BIKEAID (245-3243) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be pleased to assist. Thanks and best!
A: I had the hook set holding a small 40 lbs snowblower with no problem. Even in an earthquake.
