High Quality Door
We had very few doors to choose from, and are glad we came upon this one. The quality is excellent, and the glass is nice and thick to give a real overall quality feel once installed. It says it's a 48 inch door, but it will only fit the alcove opening dimensions in the details, about 44.5" to 47'5". Our opening was about 45.75" and it worked perfectly. Our only issue was with the instructions. Half of the instructions were for installing for a tub, the other half were for a free standing shower with a return piece of glass. It took us much longer to install this than it should because it took quite a while to figure out the instructions. If I was to install this door again, it would take much less time.
Also, there are several spots that don't talk as much about sealant as they should. I had to remove the threshold piece and the door guide block and reseal underneath them, as water was leaking through. Also, I put sealant on a couple of other places that water was getting through that didn't mention sealing at all (at least that I noticed).

The stopper broke after 2 weeks of use
The doors are very easy to install if you have strait leveled walls. Takes about one hour first time after studying the paper instructions. Looks great but the stopper is flimsy. We used the shower doors for 2 weeks and the stopper broke. Very disappointing after spending $800 with tax.

Shower door sets off new bathroom,
We had our bathroom fully remodelled and pulled out the bath and existing shower and built a shower where the bath used to be. This is the first thing you see as you walk into our bedroom and down to the bathroom so we wanted a super nice one with something of a wow factor. We sure got it with this. Our contractor told us he would prefer us to get something different as it would require him to cut into the wall and fortify the wall and it concerned him that so much weight was resting on just one bolt. I read up about this shower and decided to go ahead. In the end he was so pleased he asked if he could bring his wife to see it and fell in love with it. It is heavy and substantial but mainly it just looks amazing and does not stain at all. Was expecting to be wiping it down daily but the glass reples the water spots just fine

Looks nice but . ..
We bought the Maxx Halo in black matte - looks great but my contractor has come back 3 times to re caulk the bottom as water continues to leaks outside despite having the guards on . . .

Very poor quality
The sliding side of the door exploded during installation while being carefully handled by our contractor.
And this is the second time. Our old door was also MAAX brand, it shattered while we were cleaning it, we thought it was a fluke, or handling on our end. But the new door same thing.

An Excellent Shower Door
This shower door is beautifully and thoughtfully constructed in every detail. The installation takes time and care, but the results are worth it. The instruction manual is well written and illustrated but must be followed with care.
