Size made it easily handled for the small WC where I wanted a Mediterranean - Santa Fe trowel effect. Nice weight too. My only issue with this is where the handle is attached to the blade on the bottom working side of the tool. It was ground down to make it smooth but the grinding left small ridges that showed up on the plaster.Took a while to learn how to avoid this since it looked too uniform. Otherwise it is well worth the price. For larger walls, the 12 & 14 or bigger versions would be best.

Thank you, this was very helpful to putting up the plaster for wall I needed to close up with plaster. When I received it wrapped well, but had some kind of scraping mark on the flat metal side. I assume that was how it was put together on the machine, which didn't hinder its strength to hold up I get the job done.
