AnswerFollow-up: I ordered these and found that on the packaging there is printed "Meets ANSI Z87+ Standard". That is, even though the descriptions for this eye protection on the Home Depot web site is incomplete, the fact that the plastic bag that they were packaged in includes the Plus sign ("+") after the "Z87" in their labeling confirms that these ARE ANSI Z87.1 impact-resistance rated eye protection. I hope this helps others in their decision making. As a practical matter, these fit very comfortably over my prescription eye glasses and the broad temples give an added sense of confidence that debris will be blocked from the sides as well as the front.
