Is this a good choice for glass tile?

Asked by EM July 19, 2018
1
Answer

Not the best choice; blades specifically made for glass are available. Technique & type of tile being cut (many types of "glass tile") can matter more than choice of blade. This will do the job if new and your technique is good.

What's the differance between MK 215 and MK 415

Asked by Lilly September 6, 2017

Answer

The MK 215 is used for ceramic tiles and marble and the MK 415 is used for porcelain tiles. Porcelain is much harder than ceramic and marble.

Blade looks no different in the diamond coating depth after cutting 50-60 feet of granite countertop. Use wet only. Runs very true, no wobble like some cheaper blades. Best blade I've run so far. The $100 price tag is a bit steep but the 9mm coating is so much better than the 5-7mm coatings on many other blades.
