Questions & Answers

What size is arbor? 5/8 or 1"?

I need a 7" wet saw blade with 1" arbor at a reasonable price, this would be perfect if it is 1" arbor.

Do you have one that’s 10”? Price? Does it come with the diamond knockout?

I’m looking to cut petrified wood and granite rocks. Is this the blade I could use?
Asked by: Wynitme307
I had to look up what a diamond knockout is. No, it doesn't. I have easily sliced through 1/4" stone tile with this blade DRY if that helps. I haven't tried it on my granite slab yet, but I think with some water it should be fine.

Can I use this on glass tile.

Glass subway tile

I wish I had a definitive answer for you, but this is what I would do: Clamp the tile firmly (as nearly as you can to the cut line) to a stable platform and run a small, steady stream of water in front of the blade while cutting. Rule of thumb is, once you begin a cut like this you should not stop until the cut is complete. One slow, steady cut or you risk cracking the material.

What is the diameter in mm. Some blades are 180 mm which is larger than 7 inches and some are 178mm which is the same as 7 inches.

My saw will only accept 178mm blades due to tight tollerences in the protective cover.
Asked by: BA
I don't have one on hand to measure but 7 inches breaks down to 177.8 mm so it should work .
