It's a nice front door, and most likely it will last a good long time, BUT, it's very unfortunate...
It's a nice front door, and most likely it will last a good long time, BUT, it's very unfortunate that the door is not free of wood. The manufacturer uses a nice looking composite material to make the door frame that I suspect is akin to composite decking that it says will not rust or rot, but then instead of using that very same material for the hardpoints in the door itself (which is fibreglass over a foam core, which wouldn't hold screws, etc) for the hinge attachments and for where the door knob and deadbolt go, they actually use wood there! Then, in answer to one of the questions on this website, they have the unmitigated gaul to claim (or to at least hint or suggest) that the door has no wood in it! So that's my beef plus the silicone sealing job they did on the glass was pretty sloppy. Otherwise the door is fine, but understand this very important fact: although the door could very easily have been made without wood, THIS DOOR IS NOT WOOD FREE!
