MMI DOOR primed shaker 4-lite privacy glass barn doors are manufactured to eliminate warp, panel shifting and glass rattling. The frosted glass panes offer superior privacy while still allowing light into your room. Each door is paired with our classic bent strap roller hardware kit in stainless steel finish. Combining both modern style and practicality, our shaker privacy glass barn doors offer a fresh and unique take on a traditional and timeless look. Ideal for openings up to 38 in. wide and up to 82 in. high
  • Stile and rail constructed shaker door slab with barn door hardware
  • Door slab size: 42 in. x 84 in.
  • Finished opening width is suggested to be 4 in. smaller than the door width provided, this allows 2 in. Door overlap per side, suggested finished opening height can vary depending on thickness of existing trim and should not exceed 82 1/4 in. without trim
  • Bent strap mount barn door hardware kit is included for easy installation, kit comes in stainless steel
  • Single door unit comes with 78 3/4 in. track, 90 in. track and door slab assembly required handle sets not included
  • 4-panes of frosted, tempered privacy glass with shaker sticking
  • Door comes primed, ready to paint
  • For securing purposes, kit comes with 96 in. mounting board

          Door looks great once painted and hung. My overall frustration is with the fact that it didn’t come with pre drilled holes in the door or the board to mount the railing. I only say this because I bought a a different brand barn that had both pre-drilled and it made the project much easier not having to worry about whether or not the holes were drilled perfectly square with one another. This can cause your door to hang off balance if you’re not exact. It’s a simple yet important factor that I think should be considered by the manufacturer of this door. Was able to hang other door in half the time.

          Pros- Very nice looking door, well made, included hardware Cons- very heavy, plastic film is very tedious to remove. Count on 3 hrs to review instructions, to hang & to add handle if this is your 1st time doing this project. That is with my handyman having all the right tools. I am very pleased with the results.

          Nice door. Very difficult to remove film protecting the glass. No instructions so resorted to YouTube. Hardware package did not include any type of handle, so I must now order that. You'd think that an over $800 door could have handles!

            Once it was up, it is great. The instructions are not helpful and even wrong at times (where to drill into the door to install the wheels was wrong and I almost broke the glass pain so do not blindly follow them). Install was tricky, I think definitely takes two people and ladders, but worth it in the end because the product looks nice, and it was nice to get door and hardware all in one shippment.

            The door and rail have a great look. Really ties a room together, especially if you also purchase the recommended handle. The door is VERY heavy so this is at least a two person job. The screws provided were useless for us, as we needed to mount into a concrete wall. But, if we had needed to install the rail into standard studs we would have been in trouble because it seems the holes in the rail were not of standard spacing. I recommended measuring your studs at home first and compare to the pre-drilled holes on the rail. Aside from that, it's a nice product.
