MMI Door Fiberglass Patio Doors are built to last and can add substantial curb appeal to your home. This fiberglass smooth patio door unit comes with our MSystem 2 Warranty on the Door Component and the Base Prehung System as well as a 10-year warranty on the Glass Lite. All of our fiberglass smooth patio doors are virtually maintenance free and will not warp, rot, dent or split. Our prehung door unit (called the MSystem) seals out the weather and practically eliminates air and water infiltration all together. Door size is 60 in. x 80 in. Unit dimension is 63 in. x 81.75 in. The suggested rough opening is 63.5 in. x 82.25 in. This unit comes with a 4-9/16 in. wide primed composite frame.
  • Fiberglass reinforced skin with insulated polyurethane core
  • Door slab size: 60 in. x 80 in., (2) 30 in. x 80 in.
  • Overall unit dimension: 63 in. x 81.75 in.
  • Suggested rough opening: 63.5 in. x 82.25 in.
  • Patio unit has one active door and one inactive door
  • Prehung on a 4-9/16 in. primed composite frame with matching brickmould attached
  • Frame is 100% composite poly-fiber material that will never warp, splinter or rot
  • Prehung unit comes with 3 satin nickle hinges, fully weatherstripped with one continuous sill running the entire width of the unit
  • Glass description: Classic Low-E clear glass is double paned, tempered and insulated; privacy rating = 0 out of 10
  • Patio door unit comes primed, ready to paint
  • Center-hinged right-hand inswing
  • When viewed from the exterior of the home, the door on the left side is active, hinges are on the right and the door swings into the home
  • Active door and frame are prepped for both entry knob and deadbolt; 2-1/8 in. bore diameter with 2-3/4 in. backset (locks sold separately)
  • Patio unit is center hinged with one active door; screen can be attached to sill; screen not included
  • Will meet or exceed federal guidelines for energy efficiency (where and if applicable)

    A:  Unfortunately, we do not have this patio door available with a 6-9/16" frame on HomeDepot.com, however if you reside within our Midwest/Northeast service area this can be special ordered in-store at your local Home Depot.

                  Can't say for sure about installed quality. Door arrived damaged but from what I could tell the finish quality did not look so great as caulking around the center support where it meets the sill plate looked sloppy. Home Depot handled the damaged delivery like pros and refunded my purchase. I'll continue to shop Home Depot but I'm beginning to second guess the screening process for suppliers.
