What all do I need to purchase to make this work for our daughters shower? How to I connect it to the water pipes

I don’t recall all that I needed to install this but the hose that connects directly to the shower head is what you will connect to your water source (see attached). I purchased this so my 5 year old can shower independently and he really loves that he can he can shower all by himself! See photos.

Part missing?

I don't see the part highlighted in red in the box, but I see it in the product image. Is it missing or does it not come with this product at all?

It doesn't come with this fitting which is straight up absurd. No one would connect it without a 90.

Hello Jeepster and thank you for your interest in Moen 1-Spray Eco-Performance Handheld Handshower with Slidebar in Oil Rubbed Bronze model 3668EPORB. Yes, you can unscrew the hand shower from the hose fitting. The hose fitting has a standard ½” thread. We would only recommend using a Moen hand shower as we have not tested this with other brands. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product, but... Good product, but be aware that the instructions that come in the box are outdated and not specific for this model. I looked everywhere for part "H" and I found the note "Included with models prior to Sept. 2013" only in the online instruction sheet. Drilling a hole on tile that is big enough to fit the retainer is quite challenging. It does not come with the drop ell, which is quite expensive if you buy it separately. No complaints in regards to water pressure.

They don’t tell you anywhere that you need an additional part. What a waste of time and money.

It is now cracked underneath as you can see but was just told by one of your people that the lifetime warranty does not apply to this. I am the original builder and only owner of this home. All I need is the new slide bar attachements. Not quite understanding why this doesn’t apply. I purchased Moen for its lifetime warranty.
