How do I attach pex to this Roman tub valve

Hello Jason and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen 2 handle roman tub fixed rough in valve with shower diverter, model #9793, does come with adapters to connect pex to the valve and then your line connection would be CPVC. If you want pex to pex, you would have to provide an adapter to do so.

Hello Sparky and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Roman Tub with Shower Diverter 10” Centers ½” PEX with ½” CPVC Adapters is not pressure balanced. The valve was designed and manufactured to comply with the applicable requirement of: ASME A112018.1/CSA B-125.1, ASTM F1807, CSA B137.5 for PEX, ASTM D2846, CSA B137.6 for CPVC and all applicable requirements referenced therein. is this valve fixed at 8" centers between the handles?

I am replacing an existing faucet that may have a slightly different hole pattern and want to know that this will work.

For a tub installation 8" on center you would want to use the Moen 4-Hole Roman Tub Rough-in PEX/CPVC Valve, model number 9793. Is the Moen 9797 4-hole roman tub rough in valve supposed to come with the hoses and hardware for the hand held shower as depicted in the picture?

We recently ordered this rough in valve but it did not come with the hoses and hardware for the hand held shower as shown in the picture. Those parts are also shown on the installation instructions. Should we have received those parts with our order, or are we supposed to order separately?
