No this does not rotate. It is fixed position.
You can mount this over marble but you have to drill holes through the marble and this attaches with screws into the wood or sheetrock behind the marble. You will need a masonry drill bit to drill through the marble.
My wall is 59" also and this rod worked great.
It does not actually fasten to wall you twist or turn to tighten . Compression but not fastened
Yes, so far so good. Plus it makes the tub seem larger.
Yes mine is at that drastic of angle and it worked fine.
Because the shower rod is curved the pivot flange allows you to turn the flange until it fits on the tub wall. It sounds weird, but after I held the rod up I turned it until it fit snug on the wall. Once you have the tight fit screw the back on and the cover piece slides on.
Technically, yes, but it would require removing a flange to do so.
Probably higher sales volume. Pivoting flange is very easy to install, but not more costly to make
The rod is curved but the distance between one end to other as a straight line is 60 inches. I think this would be an exact fit. Mine is measurement is 58 inches and I had to shorten the rod by 2 inches. Hope this helps.
