My plumber likes Moen
Per his advice I chose the Adler Single-Handle 4-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet for my bathroom remodel. The quality is good and so is the value. The shower head has three settings with nice spray patterns. These days some plastic parts are the norm.

Valve stem out too far. Spacer?
Shower tiled and went to put the faucet handle on and it stick out way too far. Does Home Depot have a spacer? I’d rather not start ripping out tile?

Hello Zach and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Home Depot website. The Moen Adler Single-Handle 4-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet in Chrome (Valve Included) when installed there is a gap between the handle and the escutcheon plate to ensure the screws on the plate do not interfere with the operation of the handle. Depending on the installation, it is acceptable for this gap to be between ½” – 1”. Many times, this gap is defined by the amount of room behind the shower wall the installer has to position the valve. Installation instructions included with the Moen Adler Single-Handle 4-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet in Chrome (Valve Included) cover the use of the Plaster Ground when installing the fixture. The Plaster Ground is used to determine the depth of the rough-in valve based on the thickness of the finished shower wall. If you have additional questions, Moen product specialists can be reached at 1-800-289-6636 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

Missing spout
I bought this tub/shower faucet and dropped the box way home until next night when the plumber coming to install it. when he starts to install the tub and opened the faucet box, he cut the pipes to fit the valve, after that he put the handles and the last part was missing. No spout, and it was too late to go to home Depot. closing time. and the other parts were installed already. I'll try to go tomorrow and explain this weird situation and find the best solution because now my shower is no ready until I get the spout. in advance I'll check every stuff before to pay and leave the store

Purchased this product to replace a 17 yo, original to the house, Moen faucet. BEWARE if your house is more than 10 or so years old, you may not be able to use the tub spout. Newer plumbing techniques include a longer spout with a threaded end so you just screw the spout on. My tub only has about 3" of copper pipe sticking out so we had to spend the extra money to buy and aftermarket replacement designed to fit this type of plumbing. Thought I was saving money buying this all together, but after having to buy the extra spout, it ended up costing more. Happy with everything else overall. It would have been nice to have had a picture of the inside of the spout in the online details. (photos attached)
