    Will it hold a full size bath towel?

    What is the distance from center to center, I need 7 inches

    Savannah and MeCzech. No, it is NOT 7" from center to center. If you install it that way, the bar will miss the post. The installation instruction say it is 6.65" and the Moen guy says it is 6.68". I don't understand why they didn't give the measurement in fractions of an inch.

    Can they be installed on a tile wall?

    Yes. I installed mine on a tile wall in about 20 minutes. Just be sure to use a tile-glass bit to drill the holes in the tile and don't over tighten the screws which hold the mount brackets onto the tile. You could crack your wall tile...

    I only saw the 18" and 24" lengths in the Ashville line when I searched for ours. Moen does make a few 30" towel bars in different styles though...

    Does Moen make a brushed nickel pivoting tp holder with a width of 7" measured from center of posts?

    Not sure. The Ashville measures approx. 6 & 11/16" center to center. The back plate does measure approx. 2 & 3/16" across, so that does give you quite a bit of wiggle room to move your mounting holes. The chance that you'll find anything with identical mounting holes, that's not the exact same fixture, is pretty slim...

    The ring fell out. It seems the set screw will not engage and hold it in the bracket. Solution?

    Yes, but the tile should be reinforced on the backside with either a stud or a backer board. The holes for mounting should be pre-drilled.

    The 3/4 moon holder will not placed into the mount? Anyone touches the towel and the half circle holder falls out.

    Having the pivoting arm makes changing the TP a lot easier without the bar potentially falling to the floor or springing across the room! You just lift up the handle take empty one off and slide new roll on...genius!

    I replaced outdated chrome bathroom fixtures with the brushed nickel of this product: 18" towel bar TP holder I had no trouble with the installation and I like the quality of the products. In using the paper template, however, I taped it to cardboard which made it more functional. I wish there was a matching dual towel bar and a wall shelf with a towel bar...

    The bar with spring on my old paper hold stopped functioning, new bar was bit shorter and kept falling out, so I welcomed the opportunity to test this product. Like most of us I have never done installing or removing paper holder. For info first “how to” remove old paper hanger I visited Internet, where is plenty of instructional videos on this subject. After removing old paper hanger I was very happy seeing two pairs of holes and I was hoping I will be able to reuse them without any additional drilling. It didn’t happen, because old holes were oriented horizontally while on new holder were oriented vertically. After taping the enclosed template for drilling holes I learned, that I am able to reuse 2 holes, so that drilling got limited to two holes only. I had to drill in ceramic tiles and for both new holes I needed to use plastic toggles (included). Using the toggle was the most difficult part, they are too bulky for ceramic tile and while tapping the first one into the wall, the tile was slicing off the plastic from the toggle and it was hard to get toggle into the wall. For second hole I cut off from toggle all sticking out plastics to make it little bit slimmer and then getting the toggle into the wall was much easier. Otherwise, I was basically following the instructions included in the box. For better visual understanding I am recommending website Moen.com, where is with this product shown great “how to” video. My advise: when removing mounting plates from mounting posts of new holder, loosen screws only as much as is necessary, so when you tighten them again to finalize the job, you don’t have to turn too much. Your paper holder is located quite low above the floor and access to those tiny screws with hex wrench is not as easy as with the screwdriver. Installation in general is siple. Pivoting paper holder is a great idea, no hassle with the spring. New paper holder looks awesome.

    This was one of the simplest installs that i have done in a long time. Comes with easy to understand instructions and template for where to drill your holes or place screws,uses Allen screws to secure to the base and that was it. Looks great and works perfectly. Pictures will look better once I get the walls done.(lol)
