Handle Sticks out too far
The handle sticks out too far and looks like it wasn't properly installed. Spoke with Moen and they think it's an acceptable look. They need to change the instructions or provide a thicker plastic guard around the valve so it installs properly.

Hello Not Happy and thank you for your interest in Moen products!

The Moen 82975SRN Attract Single Handle 6F Shower Faucet, as well as all Moen shower faucets, is designed to have a 1/2-1 inch space between the shower wall and the escutcheon for proper handle rotation. The placement of the valve behind the wall will determine the 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch or 1 inch space. Our highly trained product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation and warranty assistance at 1-800-289-6636 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time. Moen
    Serious quality control issue
The shower was either scorching hot or cold - no in between! Called the plumber who installed it - thinking he messed up. Figured out the cartridge was faulty. So spent an additional 1 hr of my Sunday + 1 hr of a plumber + a new cartridge

      Cheap plastic
Had this showerhead in brand new bathroom for less than 2 months. Water was spraying everywhere the cheap plastic on the connection was stripped. Expensive piece of junk!

Handle sticks out way too far, looks terrible
Look closely at the pictures of the valve handle, particularly those taken from a side angle. You'll see that the handle sticks out about an inch too far, exposing parts (screws, etc.) on the inside that should not be visible. It looks tacky.

Hello wayfaerer and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Home Depot website. The Moen Attract with Magnetix Single-Handle 6-Spray 5.5 in. Shower Faucet in Spot Resist Brushed Nickel (Valve Included) has a gap between the bottom of the handle and the escutcheon plate to ensure the screws on the plate do not interfere with the operation of the handle. Depending on the installation, it is acceptable for this gap to be between ½” to 1”. For pre-purchase, installation and warranty assistance, please call us at 1-800-289-6636; we are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time. Moen
          Just installed.
We had a plumber install it so I can't really comment on install. It looks and works great. I will update this post if it has any issues after a few months use.

After 5 Short Months The Inner Tube Burst
I recently renovated my bathroom and bought this MOEN shower head. After 5 months it seems that it was a mistake. The inner tube burst in the middle of my showering and sent water everywhere. Would not recommend buying this product. Waste of $200.

              Moen shower faucet with valve
I love this Moen shower faucet! It is beautiful and looks elegant in my new shower. I love the magnetic head. It is much easier to use than the kind that you have to set in. The spray head is an easy to use push button instead of the "turn the dial" for the different sprays. Overall, this is the best hand-held shower faucet that I've ever used! Worth the price!

This is a high quality shower faucet and valve kit that will be installed in my remodeled master bathroom. The round shower head / spray handle is much larger than other similar shower heads I have used. It has an interesting single mechanical push-button design that switches between the 6 different spray patterns. The head uses a unique magnetic attachment, making it easy to remove and re-attach the handle to the mount. The shower head / handle, hose, and round valve cover plate are plastic, with a brushed metal finish. The valve handle, valve assembly, and short piece of pipe are metal. I really like the look of the brushed nickel, which will match all of the fixtures and hardware in my new bathroom. This shower head kit is WaterSense Certified, so it will help me a bit with water conservation.

This showerhead is great. My wife and I really like the magnetic attachment. It makes it so much easier to take the showerhead down and put it back up. My wife also appreciated the different spray modes, from the gentle rain shower to a more powerful spray to quickly wash soap out of her hair. The button on the showerhead cycles through the 6 different spray modes. On one hand, it makes it very easy to change them, but on the other, it can be annoying to have to go through each mode in series; you can't go backward if you go too far by accident. The showerhead has 3 rings of waterjets; the small rainfall style jets on the outer ring, and then 2 rings of 8 jets on the inner core that use a wider stream of water and can be more powerful. The 6 modes use a combination of these jets. The first setting is a rain shower setting. This uses all water jets around the outer ring of the showerhead. The spray is a medium pressure. I'd be OK with a little more pressure, but then you'd probably go above the water usage rating. The next setting reduces pressure on the outside ring jets as well as the outer ring of the inner core jets. This overall seemed like a pretty low pressure setting, allowing the outer rain jets to keep you warm while the inner jets can provide a little more water to rinse off the skin. The next setting turns off the outer rainfall jets and keeps the outer ring of jets on. This is a nice, high pressure flow that works well to rinse soap out of my hair. The next setting turns on both the inner and outer ring of core water jets. This lowers the pressure and gives a nice rinsing wash. The next setting turns on just the inner core of water jets. This is a concentrated, high pressure setting that would be good to help wash off dirt or something. The final setting turns the outer rainfall jets on again in addition to the inner core jets. This is a low pressure spray. The showerhead itself is very easy to install. The faucet portion requires a little more DIY skill, but isn't too bad.
