POOR QUALITY
The black cap on the sink drain popped off. Now I’ll have to disassemble the pipes under the sink to return and replace it.

Wish I could go back in time
I absolutely loved the look of this faucet. I liked how easy it was to use and the design of the handle. I definitely thought it was a sleek modern faucet. HOWEVER, the design of the drain is TRASH. I wish I would’ve looked up more reviews on different sites because apparently this is a known issue with this model. There is a ring of water that will just pool near the drain since the drain has a significantly high lip. Also, the O-ring that comes with the kit is not easy to use.

Great looking faucet.
Faucet was easy to install probably took me 15 minutes which is pretty quick. Many times I have problems with these types of installations but this one went very smooth. I think the hardest part of everything was registering the faucet with Moen.Fortunately I still have the box not realizing I needed the model number from the outside of the box.The online form asked for a serial number and I had no idea where it was so I left the box blank and it’s still processed. I replaced a 30 year old faucet that was obviously out of style and needed to go.

Nice faucet but drain assembly could be improved
Overall the Moen Genta is a nice faucet but the drain assembly could be improved.
Liked:
- Modern design
- Handle is wide and feels nicer to use compared to smaller handles in other faucet designs
- Easy install of faucet, no silicone or putty required
- Provided mounting tool made mounting the faucet very easy
- Water comes out of the faucet in a horizontal stream
- Moen customer service was quick and helpful when I had an issue
Could be better:
- Drain nut is plastic and can be easily worn as you need to use a tool to tighten it
- Drain seat is a bit too thick, potential for more water to linger around after using the faucet
- Value could be better at the price point considering the drain assembly components and relatively simple faucet design
Nitpick:
- Would be nice to get a little more water flow from the faucet
- Would prefer a popup drain assembly, like the Moen plastic replacement popup drain kit for a faster install with no tools required and can be hand tightened. The lift rod design means a more finicky install and the rod comes out at an angle which could be an issue for some setups as mentioned in other reviews.
