A:  Hello Molo and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Heavy Duty Retractable Clothesline in Polished Stainless Steel has several mounting options. Wood blocking is preferable behind all wall surfaces. If wood blocking is not available, the following optional fasteners are suggested: Tile/Masonry – Plastic or Lead Anchors;Plaster/Drywall – Toggle Bolts.

A:  It can be mounted to any surface as long as you know what you are doing. Wood, cement block, tile...as long as you have the proper tools for the job you can mount it.

A:  Yes you will need to use a wall anchor or toggle bolts

A:  Yes. Mounting it is very easy if you use the adhesive backing. If you only hang a few pairs of underwear on the line, you should get away with using the adhesive backings. I chose the heavy-duty option of inserting anchors into the tile and securing it with screws so the terrific product would stop falling off the wall. We love it!

A:  Not sure. Don’t waste your money. It’s junk. Too fragile to hang clothes on. Ours broke! Waste of money!!
