Faucet is leaking from the pull down spray?

The spray doesn'tt seat back into the faucet and water is flowing into the cabinet below until we snap back into place
Asked by: Need helps
Needs help, Make sure your sparayer has not been installed cross threaded. Remove the faucet and reinstall it making sure it screws on without having to use a lot of force. Make sure to tighten it snug. Next make sure that your hose connecting to your water line are not crosss threaded and then check for tightness. Sounds as if they may be loose. That is about the only way you would have a leak unless you have a damaged sprayer hose. When you turn the faucet on lood in the cabinet and try to isolate where the water is leaking from. Hope this helps! Good luck! P.S Make sure all your gaskets are in place at the faucet end and the water line end connections. No gaskets means leaky faucet/lines.

how can you remove and use in another sink

We want to remove this faucet and use at our other house. We have purchased this about 4 months ago and can not find instructions. Is there an easy way to do this?
Asked by: Greyghost5
Greyghost5, Yes you can remove it and put it in another house. First turn off your water for both the hot and cold line. (Located under your sink against the back wall). Then all you need to do is disconnect your hoses and remove the bolts that are holding the faucet in. Just remove it in the reverse order that you installed it. Be sure to keep all your gaskets as you will need them when reinstalling it.

Lindley Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Reflex and Soap Dispenser in Mediterranean Bronze is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 211.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mostly I love how high the faucet is above the sink. I love the pull out faucet head. But the inner hose must have separated where it connects to the head because it leaks badly there. It has been in use for 5 or 6 years. Also, the connector from the neck to the sink loosens right after attaching it now. We had a contractor install it to begin with, and I'm pretty sure he did it correctly. I love everything else about this faucet though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice design! I must say, I was not looking forward to replacing a faucet, but Moen made it fairly painless with this one. From the sleek packaging, which included all the items necessary no matter what sink configuration you have, to the flexible connection lines with compression fittings, this replacement took all but 20 minutes! The one handed combination faucet was also new to me and I am finding it much easier to use than the old separate hot-cold valves. As a note, we were warned of the possible low water pressure from this faucet, but I can't say I really notice any change. Overall, I recommend this product. the design is simple and attractive. The finish on all of the parts was well refined and felt substantial and made with quality. In the end, I found it surprising how replacing one thing can make your old kitchen look and feel brand new!

We have had it for 3 years and it has started leaking from the handle. We have to tighten a part in the handle each time it starts to leak. It has leaked so bad we now have to keep towels under our counter so we don't ruin our cabinet and hardwood floors. Moen is supposed to last and we have other faucets that we have had since 1998 no issues. All Moen will do is send you replacement parts or you pay $55 and they send you a new unit. Disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TOUGH FINISH, EASY TO USE BUT PULL-DOWN STARTED TO FALL APART WITHIN A YEAR We love the look of this faucet and the finish has held up to the dish traffic of 7 people and our very hard water, which I was surprised with. It is easy to use. I thought I might not like the side handle faucet, but I do. You can set it up left-handed or right-handed. The pull-down head does not always seat well back into the neck. It uses a weight attached the hose under the sink and if the hose is at all obstructed by such things as dishwasher hoses, shut-off valves and the like, it may get hung up. A magnetic attachment would work much better. The pull down mechanism started to fall apart within a year. The bushing at the end of the neck which the pull-down head seats into started to pull out with the handle. You could wedge it back up but it would inevitably come back out in a few days to a week. Then last week the hose came apart where it attached to the pull down head. The ball joint is where it failed. You could snap it back in, but it would pull back out with anything other than the gentlest tug. I was in a Home Depot when my wife called with the bad news so I picked up an $18 plastic piece of ---- to hold us off until Moen sent the replace parts. It has lasted me less than two years. I called Moen and in less than 5 minutes they had identified the failing parts and arranged to get them shipped off it me. They are standing behind the product. Hopefully the plastic replacement will last another few weeks until the replacement parts arrive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product - be ready for installation The product itself looks great in the kitchen. The style and functions are good. The installation pieces are all there and there is only one gotcha. The brass shaft which houses the pull-down line is too long and the wrench provided does not reach the nut to tighten it. I used the metal frame provided for under the countertop for spacer and still the wrench was too short. Luckily I still had the previous faucet (moen pull-out) with the line weights handy. So I removed the weights and they are two pieces which you put around the pull line for added weight. Any how I put these two weights under the countertop and then put the metal spacer on top of it which fit just right and made the wrench to reach the nut and I could tighten the assembly. Make sure to put some clear caulk at the base on top of the counter. My previous moen kitchen faucet was rusted underneath because of this. Otherwise I trust Moen to do the right thing here and either shorten the shaft (1.5") or priovide thicker spacer. My countertop is about 1.2" thick and I still needed extra spacer ;-)

Just installed new Moen faucet because the other Moen faucet we had already failed after 3 years. Only picked out another Moen because they were the only brand that had the dark brown finish we needed to match. Week 2 and we are already having problems with the soap dispenser sticking when you dispense. Paid over 250.00 for this faucet and am extremely disappointed with the fact the you can't get the soap dispenser to work correctly. Seems like a minor problem until you realize how many times you use it in one day. Fail on Moen's part. So disappointed that our first faucet leaked causing our wooden floors to buckle. Will never buy a Moen again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Our old Price Pfister faucet started leaking inside the barrel, so we replaced it with an economical Glacier Bay product, but were very disappointed (see separate review) and returned it to Home Depot. We had previously heard from a plumbing distributor that Moen fixtures were the "best", so we decided to give this one a try (expensive, but many good reviews). This is our first ever Moen product, and I was very impressed. Good quality metal construction (not metal-colored plastic). Has long supply hoses which connect directly to the shutoff valves, which eliminates two potential sources of leaks. The spray head stays firmly in place (does not dangle awkwardly like some other units). Finish is excellent. Easy to install, with no special tools required. Functions perfectly. Includes warranty to original purchaser which covers free Moen parts should any leaks or defects ever develop. The only tiny negative is that the "3-way spray head" is actually a 2-way spray head (stream versus spray), with a slight boost in stream output while you hold down one of the two control buttons. Overall, looks great, is somewhat expensive, but is worth every penny.
